When I quit my 1 pk. a day habit over a year ago, I vaped 24 mg nic for about the first month. I found that since it does absorb more slowly in the lungs, I'd end up chain vaping almost to the point of getting sick before I got my "fix". I now work more on a "levels" platform. I vape 18 mg pretty heavy in the morning with my coffee to get my levels up, then maintain that level with casual vapes here and there throughout the day. Seems to work for me. ; )
One thing I do like...is I don't wake up having to rush to my stinky pack before my eyes are even open, as I did when I smoked. With vaping, I usually don't pick my device up until after my morning shower/shave and the coffee pot is done sputtering it's last drops of life's nectar into the pot...
