Sometimes I feel like vaping is just a no win situation. There appears to be no configuration for me that is a no flaw perfect setup.

dont get me wrong, I like the getting off cigarettes component of it, but other than the getting them wet or cancer part, cigarettes always worked perfectly...lol

cartos and tank...they burn out too fast for me or they flood towards end of life at an inconvenient time.

dripping...too inconvenient

just bought an RBA...tastes great... Great capacity... But the cap comes off too easy. Also I can't put it down on its side without it leaking from the tank into the cap.

Will vaping ever have a 100% perfect device that is affordable, not requiring me to spend 1000's of dollars to find it?

just had the cap full of juice pour into my lap from the RBA, so I guess I am just venting.

My fiancee is having this problem. Seriously I think he is sucking too hard. We've tried Vivi Nova's that seem to last 2-3 days for him. He vapes around 5.0 on a 2.3 pre-punched carto on a Provari. The cartos flood on him on a consistent basis and the Vivi Nova can sometimes go out after just 1 day. We're trying to find a solution.

frazz, I hear ya loud and clear! I have also not yet found a juice delivery system that is plug & play. Best I've done are the Stardusts I use, but they do not give the greatest vape experience. I think that what we are doing in a juice delivery system could use a bit of high tech innovation. I've sometimes daydreamed about electronic juice injection to the coil, think fuel injection in a car, driven by sensed amount of liquid there. The coil would still get dirty, but then again, so do ovens and we have found a way around that.

Oh well, maybe I'll get on that tomorrow. In the meantime, I'm off to figure out why my T2 is flooding again

Hang tough frazz and feel free to vent here any time you want to!

Perfect... Define perfect...

For me so far, I have an eGo 650 battery and using 1.7 ohm SmokTech 510 Single Coil Cartomizers XL, they hold about 1.5ml of juice. I fill a couple in the morning and can pretty much vape all day swithcing between flavors. I don't know how long they last but so far I have vaped on 2 of them for 2 days, cleaned them both by boiling this morning and they are working like a charm. for less than $1.50 each, it's a win.

I hear you - I know it's somewhat psychological and the money is less than I was spending on cigarettes . .and cigarettes are really disposable, too . . but I just hate it when a hunk of metal and plastic that I bought becomes useless junk. I also get really frustrated when things don't work like they should - and I hate leaking with a passion! I wish somebody would invent an ecig system that lasts forever, tastes great and never leaks - I'd pay ProVari money for something like that, lol.

I hate to recommend "another great product" . .but . .have you tried the clearos like the Kangers or Vivi Novas/Mini Novas? They are really easy to fill and I have never had one leak on me.

Also - I've been getting a really long life out of my clearos . .I've had my current mini nova for almost a month. I changed the head a couple days ago but the old one was still working - I had never cleaned it and it was pretty gunked up so I gave it an overnight soak and put in a new one.

I've had similar luck with my Kanger T2 clearos - having 2 for around 6 weeks now and replacing 1 head in each - they were both still working but really gunked up . .new heads are $1 and I had 10 and am lazy :(.

My brother only has 1 device - a Kanger T2 that he uses all day every day. Funds are tight for him so he doesn't even have a backup for when he's charging - he just waits it out. He is still going on that T2 6 weeks later although he did spring for a new one. He sat down with it in his back pocket and cracked the tank . .it's wrapped in duct tape but he's still using it while waiting for his new one to arrive. He did mention that it leaks now - but that's probably understandable.

Hope you find a solution that works for you. Let us know if/when you do.

The only thing that isn't perfect about dripping for me is that like you said, the tip falls off sometimes, and it gets messy sometimes. The darn plastic juice bottles sweat and I get liquid on my fingers. I just got my first glass bottles and we'll see how that goes.

Someday I may get a bottom feeder, but For me, the fact that it's not quite as convenient as cigarettes adds to it's specialness. It means sometimes I leave it in the car, or in my bag, or somewhere that would actually require me to be without for a small period of time. So the next time I take a drip hit it always tastes GREAT. I definitely don't mind taking the extra few seconds to drip. Kind of feels like I'm smoking a pipe sometimes. :)
I think about the old days when people had to take time to roll their own. Or the Native Americans who enjoyed tobacco, but I doubt they took it hunting or warring with them. They had to wait till they got back home to enjoy it. I bet it tasted fantastic !! :))

Thanks to everyone that has replied so far. Question to those if you using Novas on the provari. Tried one and sorta liked it...however, to make a connection I need to pull the pin in the nova down and not screw it down tight so I get some air flow...this produces a wobbly connection though...how do you all deal with this. I can't believe on the provari he didn't make the middle of the connection about 1mm higher than the outsides.....for god sakes, even the vamo did this...lol

Well he just gave up...he bought a Zen Atty Pro...uh oh...

I do have this yes....would be perfect if not for two things. 1. Could lay it on its side without losing mu juice. 2. If the top cap stayed on.

It does give flavor to juice I didn't know was there from cartos...

the center of a provari IS higher then the outsides. you must be twisting on there pretty good.

Looks level to me on all the ones I own... And the nova sits flush just finger tightening it.....do the same on a vamo (not a vamo fan though) and it leaves a gap on the outside.

The GP Spheroid dose not leak easy to rebuild great flavor and vapor. Draw backs not cheap and limited production. I bought one in the classys for 130$ and a second one from Vapor art for about the same shipped.
The only other minus is unscrewing the tube to refill but Im going to have a fill screw added to my old when my new one comes to make for quick refilling. IMG_0891.jpg
