Don't think the rafale is much of a tank hasn't been as popular as the crown

If you want a great performance great tasting tank I suggest the herakles plus it's my favourite sub ohm tank to date

Or go down the rta route
@Paul lamb thanks yeah that's what I was reading online. I won a smock tank here in one of the contest I'll just wait till that comes in! The crown is a great tank! The rta route seems like too much work haha! Plus I know nothing about building coils.

The great thing about building is the cost savings and you can really dial inn your ideal vape

Do you own a dripper? Best place to start playing with coils

Think about what the total amount of nicotine you use in a day ... not the amount of juice.
I only use about 4ml of juice/day, but it's at 12mg. You're going through 4 tanks of juice at 3mg.
Would you believe me if I told you that the total amount of nicotine we use is almost the same?

    Add:
I wrap my own coils & mix my own liquids. The end result is that it costs me about 25 cents/day to vape.

Look for sales, and buy stuff when you want to, instead of when you have to. There are always vendors cleaning out their closets.
So far this year I've bought a Provari ($25), 2 HCigar Caravelas ($5 ea), and a N Zonic ($15). That's about $500 worth of mods for 50 bucks.

I dont get the RTA being too much like work.

I wrap a coil once every 10-13 weeks,

I wick with Rayon. Every week-10 days i gently remove the wick dry burn the coil, insert a new wick.

Only takes me about 2-3 minutes between pulling my build , dry burning, installing the wick juicing, and I'm vaping again.

    Paul i couldn't agree more.

My kanthal coil cost about 1.5 cents. Will last about 3 montgs. I use Rayon for wicking. Lasts about a LOT longer than cotton wicking with good flavor.

The cost of my coils and wicking for a year is only about 75 cents, and there are people paying up to $2-5 per coil head.

I'll have to do more research, but I was under the impression that nicotine is associated with heart disease (slowly damages cardiovascular tissues). Still WAY better than cigarette smoke, but I'm not convinced there aren't any negative side effects to long-term nicotine consumption via an inhalant.
    It's a VASOCONSTRICTOR......

Fortunately my work doesn't interfere with my vape. My office is behind the wheel of a semi. I'm a low power Vaper. Egos, Evods and Sigelei ZMax all running around 3.5+-volts 2.4 ohm. No interest up(?)grading. Just traded a TC rig for a bucket load of new2me ProTanks and really enjoying the PT1.

    Too right

I rarely build new coils only when there in need I rewick once per week maybe longer as long as the coil is glowing nicely and hasn't been deformed wicking is the only duty required

I really enjoy vaping and at this point don't plan on quitting any time soon. Nicotine is not bad it's like caffeine.

I've never heard of nicotine on its own being harmful to your heart... Nicotine and its effects could be comparable to caffeine.

At what Intake Levels are you comparing these two Compounds? Because Isn't it the "Dose that Makes the Poison"?

And does this Same Thinking apply to Flavorings, Sweeteners and Colorants?

I'm not sure exactly as far as doses but my doctor did say nicotine on its own not in cigarettes is not harmful I'm assuming in reasonable amounts and comparable to someone having caffein. Caffein I believe the safe amount is no more then 400mg a day.

I don't think there is Any Dispute that ingesting Nicotine in Vapor is Less Harmful that via Smoking. I just Question the Un-Quantified Comparison of Nicotine to Caffeine.

And in the Long Run, it may turn out that there is More Risk involved with the Amount of Flavorings/Artificial Sweeteners/Colorants that are Inhaled than in the Nicotine by itself.

    That is true.
But flavorings is something we don't know enough about, and sweetners, etc.

I say do whatever you need to quit smoking, BUT I also don't believe in over-doing anything, because as we all know, we don't know enough about inhaling food flavorings (made for injestion, not inhalation) and less is more when it comes to (already damaged by smoking) lungs.

Unlike infants, who have not reached developmental mileposts that allow them to use self-discipline, as adults we have discretionary powers. We do not have to have pacifiers in that sense. Just like some of my overweight friends who seem to always be putting bit of food into their mouths (they don't really keep track but when you add it up it comes to more than they think) or slather things with condiments (like ketchup which has a lot of calories), they wonder why they can't lose weight and it because they are not *conscious* of what they are doing. They just do it.

This is a feature of all *habits*.

If these products are safe for ingestion why not safe being inhaled? It's just a different way that it gets into your body. The only down fall is the hot air which isn't good to inhale and will burn the littl hairs on the back of your throat.

It just Doesn't work that way.

The Stomach/Intestines do a great Job of Breaking Down chemical compounds, using what we need, and discarding what we Don't. It's what they Evolved to do. The lungs Didn't evolve to do this. And what goes into the Lungs can many times easily pass Directly into the Bloodstream.

And once Again, there is Dose thing.

A Blueberry Flavoring may be considered GRAS for eating 3 or 4 Blueberry Muffins a day occasionally. But can the Same be said for eating Blueberry Muffins every waking hour, 24-7, 365 Days of the year?

Can the same thing be said about Inhaling Blueberry Flavoring every waking hour, 24-7, 365 Days of the year?
