Just wondering if anyone vapes the same flavor as they smoked? I was a menthol smoker I vape mint but am leery to add tobacco flavor to get flavor close to what I smoked for a fear of relapse. Maybe I'll give it a shot and have something else on hand if I do get a craving. Also does anyone vape food flavors and how are they? Mmmmmm grilled burger flavor sounds interesting

We see that a lot here, that "looking for something that tastes like my old cigarette brand" quest. Did it myself in the beginning, until my tastebuds began to recover from decades of cigarette smoking. Cigarette-flavored anything doesn't taste good to me any more, but it's not hard to find "some sort" of tobacco/menthol flavored juice. There are also flavors which are based in a tobacco flavoring (pipe/cigarette/cigar type) and blended with other flavors such as vanilla, chocolate, caramel, etc which I find to be absolutely delicious. You'll have to judge the "delicious" part for yourself; no one else can do that for you. I would suggest that you do some reading here on good sources for various tobacco-themed juices and try as many as you can in sample-sizes for yourself.

I think a lot of people go through that "want an analog taste" thing in the beginning. I did, until I found flavors. The flavors are where it's at for me now, but I do still enjoy a good tobacco vape with a cold beer. I've hated every tobacco I ever tried until I found Heather's Heavenly Vapes tobacco line. I've tried 4 or 5 of them and every one is good and the closest thing to an analog I've found. Better than an analog, actually.. really good tobacco flavor without tasting like you licked an ashtray. Their flavors are quite fabulous too, btw!

I picked up a couple of juices that I thought might be kinda close to cigarette flavour with my first order three weeks ago. My thinking was that having something closer to cigarettes would give me a closer replacement, and so I'd be less likely to miss the real thing.

I did discover a couple (the two JokeSmoke juices from Jugheads) that were surprisingly reminiscent of cigarettes (surprisingly, in a good way, not a bad way :) ) I'm using them now as my go-to vape during the day, because they're pretty mild. They're slowly dropping down my list in favour of stronger flavours.

My favourites are generally tobacco-ish flavours. I'm liking the Hot Rod (from Jugheads again) and the Halo Torque. They tend to remind me of pipe tobacco, before you burn it and wreck the smell. It hasn't encouraged me to go back - more of a "wow, that's the way I always thought it should taste, but didn't" kind of thing.

I stumbled across someone reviewing tuna flavoured juice on YouTube the other day. (Sorry, no link). I didn't think that sounded terribly appealing.

Poutine flavour, though...

I was a 43 year menthol smoker....and I still vape menthol. I didn't think about the tobacco flavor ...even at the beginning of my vaping journey. I was mostly interested in that cool hit on the throat...that solid icy MENTHOL flavor. So looking for a tobacco based menthol was not something that occurred to me. I got tobacco flavor with my menthol cigarettes simply because there was no choice. When it wasn't there...I didn't miss it. For me, it was all about the flavor and throat hit.

I prefer the tobacco flavored juices at this point. I don't really get much satisfaction from the dessert flavored stuff yet. While it tastes nothing like an analog (because you're not physically burning a leaf) it does taste like moist, fresh tobacco smells with a little vanilla and cocoa thrown in for good measure. Currently, I'm enjoying my RY4 and 3&5. Perhaps down the road I will get more comfortable with all of the other crazy flavors...but for now, the tobacco flavors are keeping me off the analogs. 72 hrs and counting!

Excellent! Kinda exciting, isn't it? I could not believe my first few days!

Yeah!!! Definitely having my down moments from time to time, but this is by far the "easiest" 72 hrs of quit I've ever done. Little concerned about how things are going to go this evening...Friday and all, I'll be enjoying a few adult beverages out on my patio; I'm sure I'm going to get some pretty strong urges to pick up an analog. Good thing I chucked what I had remaining, I'll have no choice but to pick up my eGO DCT.

I like the tobacco flavors I have tried so far. They don't really remind me of the Marlboro's I smoked but better really. I am not one for super sweet stuff but I do like some of the flavors with hints of vanilla. I have tried a couple of non tobacco "citrusy" flavors and my friends were teasing me about smelling like Glade...... ;-)

Instead of thinking about analogs this weekend while enjoying some adult beverages.. Why not challange yourself to find a flavor that you have that works well with the beverages. I find that you'll want a heavier flavor (coffee or cola for example) because otherwise you may not tatse it very well. If you focus on that maybe you won't focus on smoking analogs.
Also if you are typically a beer then smoke kind of person (like I) you may want to switch to vape then beer then vape.. When you vape the nic takes longer to hit your system so you may be feeling a void for too long and then wan to run off to 7-11 for a pack of friends to fill that void.

Yeah, not every moment is easy, but when I compare it to trying to cold-turkey....yikes. I get a mess.

I like to vape some stronger (flavour and nic) with a tasty beverage. I find it helps. I'll be enjoying one or two on my stoop as well, I'll raise one to you.

Just had a few drinks for the first time since Quitting analogs DIY nillamint was great with stag since stag has no sugar in it. ran out of stag, switched to Bud lite and it was bad. Broke down had 1/2 a drag off of an analog non menthol, I was a menthol smoker, and I say half a drag because as soon as I tried to inhale I started coughing. So I switched to a Red Bull clone and it bade the beer taste much better. I guess I just need to Find compatible e juice to go with my beer.

I don't. I can't stand the taste of the cigarettes I used to smoke now, and I haven't found a tobacco vape that I can stand for very long at a time.

One of the big jumps for me was not trying to emulate a cigarette flavor. Tobacco is such a complex taste, I don't think a vape based on flavorings is ever going to get close enough……and that's just fine for me.
