My last cigarette after I started vaping was a horrible experience that I'll never forget. Haven't touched them again and have no cravings whatsoever after 10 months. If you have such a strong craving, light one up, it may very well be the last one you'll ever light. Remember it's the cigarettes you avoid smoking not the ones you do. The more you deny yourself something, the more your brain obsesses about it. This is not a painful process, it's actually a very smooth transitional process. Remove the label you put on yourself as a smoker and always a smoker to a vaper for life. It's really not the same thing anyway.

I'm always kind of curious about people who still have cravings...

Is it a craving for something missing in vaper that we used to get from cigarettes?

If so, then maybe you could keep some WTA juice around for those times....
What is all this about WTA juice?

Is it a craving for a more cigarette-like experience?
If so, then maybe you could keep an NJoy King around for those times...

We can trick the mind when vaping. We can also trick the body.
But sometimes the mind and body will trick us. So I guess my random cravings are compulsive.

I still get cravings from time to time, but Im still pretty new to being completely without cigs. Usually the craving goes away pretty quickly with the help of my ecig. And the memory of the last time I had a cig since I started vaping, helps as well. The last time I had one I couldn't believe how bad the taste was. It was as if I was a new smoker again, and couldnt believe that I was smoking a pack a day of something that tasted like that. For me I think it is the entire ritual of smoking that Im craving. The packing of the cigs, the going outside to smoke when its nice out, the lighting of the cig...all of these can play a part in missing the experience of smoking.

It's not that odd to me that I do occasionally get a really strong wicked urge to smoke. Nothing in particular sets it off, and it does go away after just a few seconds. I don't worry about it. I look at it this way: I was a heavy smoker for a little over 30 years, and it would be strange if I didn't have a random craving here and there. I have no true desire to ever smoke again.

Totally agree!!!! Try one and you will never look back. Your clothes will stink so will your hair and breath. No matter how many times you wash your hands they will stink too. There is nothing wrong with having one........ just think you used to smoke 20 of them a day, one more isn't going to make a difference. That's all it took for me, plus I have kids and a wonderful wife that tell me almost every day how glad they are I quit that nasty habit. Trust me others notice!

For me, the cravings for analogs are just like the craving for alcohol/drugs. Being in recovery, I can totally relate the two. BUT, I could never quit cigarettes. As quoted before, I LOVE TO SMOKE. I don't plan on vaping forever, but this route is WAY better than analogs. I hope to eventually cut nicotine strenghts and remove it completely from my life. Then, caffeine is next!

It could be the juice you are using, some people have an allergy to the PG that most juice has in it. You could try a vendor that uses only VG in their mixes. Alien Visions and Virgin Vapor are just a couple vendors that I can think of that offer 100% VG. Also could be the amount of nicotine in your juice try a lower nicotine juice. Most juice that comes in kits is not that great the best part of vaping is the thousands of choices there are out there.

I get a bit of pain in the throat as well now and then. For me it tends to be certain flavors of juice. Most don't bother me but now and then I will get one that is just painful to vape. I end giving or throwing these away. Keep trying different juices you will eventually find the perfect one for you. I've been vaping for roughly 2 months and I still haven't found that perfect juice but I've come close.

I've been vaping for a few months now and have managed to stay away from analogs. There are, however, rare occasions where I crave a real cig. Today was one of the moments...there's something about firing up the grill that makes me want to smoke. I made some burgers for my family tonight and really had to battle the urge to smoke. Fortunately the craving went away, but I couldn't help but feel bad. One of the best things about vaping is that I don't have to go outside to get my nicotine intake anymore.

For the first time in a long time I actually thought about going back to analogs. Im not going to give up, but wonder if anyone else has this struggle sometimes....
I still have some cravings for analogs in high stress situations, to fix this i keep a higher mg dose aof a strong full bodied tobacco vape.

The situational cravings are something you generally just have to adress the first time, example I don't eat alot of pizza. I was at a local vape meet kind of thing and they ordered pizza. I ate a slice of pizza and started to walk out side to smoke to the point where I reached in my pocket to grab for my pack of cigarettes that was not there.

I get tempted until I see the price for a pack of smokes :cry: My husband got on me to quit for a while, but I just stumbled on these and went with it. I get frustrated with a flooded cart, or dying batteries, but it is under half the price for a pack of stinkies just to grab a new cart  way under half the price of a carton of stinkies to get a new battery shipped out :headbang:

So far Vaping has been a dream come true, almost to easy. I have had cravings for ano's but with a few pulls of vapor they go, it may be just be a nicotine craving rather than a ano craving. I have had a cig but found I had no hit from it and the taste was horrible. I have smoked for twenty years and at one point was on 60 a day, with real awful physical withdrawal symptoms.

I am new to this too.Read somewhere--few days ago--that some people still have one or two if they have a strong craving. The number of times that they crave the analogs diminishes. I am hoping they are correct. At this point, my plan is to do that til all the old analogs are gone and only use the analog if really, really need it and am away from home. Home I will limit to e-cigs. Maybe someday--and I really do truly believe that day will come--- it will be all e-cigs. I wish you the best. At this point, even diminishing the amount of analogs by a large degree is a positive in my view. Hope I don't mess you up with this. Just hope it helps a little. Good luck.

Haven't had any cravings at all, which is weird. Like most people, I started off with tobacco flavours but didn't find any that really tasted like a real cig. So I just kind of migrated to the sweet / fruity flavours, which I love. But then a couple of nights ago I found a Boge carto at the bottom of my vape tin and tried it to see what it was. It was a tobacco one (USA Mix, I think) and it was delicious. Tasted just like what I remember cigs tasting like, even though when I was a total newbie it didn't taste like them at all. I suppose that's the tastebuds changing. So now I've ordered another bottle of tobacco juice, just to have on hand as a change (or if I do get a craving).

I think that over time the severity of the cravings go down, at least with me.Just like anything else the more you practice the better you get at it. Having your PV "loaded" and ready to go helps as well. When I get a craving I chain vape and it goes away.

Early on, I had that craving for a smoke sneak up on me once or twice---I just "vaped" it away.
I can'r remember the last time I had a craving. I don't anticipate having one again.
