I've found that I prefer 100% vg juices on my lil quest to become a vaper. However, I've noticed wicking issues with my T3S and regular cartomizers. What would be the best way to vape predominately or 100% VG juices?
I just recently found that I love several Virgin Vapors 100% VG flavors. At the same time I bought my first Hybrid Genesis Mod (Richman Mod) I didnt know any better and filled with 100% VG Banana Coconut and it was a game changer. I have since built a coil on an RSST and used 100% VG Virgin Vapors Bella Amaretto and the results are the same amazing. I was hesitant at first to try my hand at genesis atomizers but I really love them. For me I am really glad I tried it really has opened up a new flavor and vaping world with 100% VG
I am using 500 mesh and 32g kanthal at 1.6ohm.
I use vg on ts3 try removing a flavor wick from above the coil. Remove 1 at a time till it wicks right for you. I ended up removing all of them but I'm sure th ohm and v or w you vape at as well as if you chain vape all play a part in how many of the extra wicks you do or don't need. If it starts leaking put one back.
Agree! use a DDA (Direct Drip Atomizer) check out the SmokTech Octopus or Mini Octopus. you need to drill out an air flow hole when you get them it takes like 2 seconds make sure you scrub and wash out the body really well after drilling. i own both the regular size and the Mini i love both. there are some more expensive DDA's on the market but if your new to vaping and not totally sold on the idea yet try a SmokTech Octopus. i find a 90% VG 10% PG works the best in most rigs. Happy vaping!
Using a drip atomizer would be my first response. No wick material to clog. Just drip a few drops of juice into the atomizer and vape away. Run out of juice, add a few more drops.
If you find that to be tedious or inconvenient, consider a bottom feeding box mod. These are mechanical mods with a built-in tank and use an atomizer. The tank is squeezed to feed juice up backwards into the atomizer. The full flavor of a drip atomizer with the convenience of a tank.
I vape 100% VG using a Kanger EVOD and Kanger ProTank... as far as I know, the T3S uses the same atty heads. I've never had a problem with the VG juice being absorbed into my wicks and vaporizing properly... perhaps it's just a particularly thick VG blend you received? I notice with some of the VG juices I have, some are thicker than others. If it's too thick, I can see where it might cause an issue. You could remove one of the wicks which should theoretically allow the VG juice to flow into the atty faster...
Or you could try to dilute your ejuice with a drop or two of distilled water per ml. 100% VG juices don't have to be very thick--most juice makers dilute VG to a vaping consistency.
I vape 80% VG on the Russian rba without any issues. If the vape starts to diminish I simple re-wick the coil with some cotton, do a quick dry burn on the coil first, to burn off any gunk, then new cotton, saturate with juice, test burn, assemble tank, fill and vape. Usually get about a week of Vapping without doing anything but keeping the tank full.
