Hey guys stumbled across this forum whilst researching which ecig too buy, I'm 20-40 a day man (depending how stressful the day is:oops:) i have dropped down to silk cut from embassy over the last year :D but I'm sick of clothes smelling cars smelling and having to go outside to smoke. So the idea is buy and ecig and wean myself off slowly and even if i don't come off it at least i've eliminated the most harmful stuff. I've just ordered an Evo black, after reading loads of reviews and info on every model my head was swimming so i just jumped and ordered one almost like sticking a pin in a map. Hope i've made the right choice but time will tell. Anyway guys thanks for all the useful info on here i'll be trawling through for a good while

Cheers guys i've just spent hours reading through the site:pI'm now wondering if i need more batteries (get 2 with the kit) and some kind of case to carry it all in. My saturday nights are generally quiet wild starting around 9pm till about 9am  in a night i generally smoke about 30 analogues (check me out with the new lingo) I'm wondering that seeing as i won't have to go outside will i vape more than that and will the 2 batts last? Obviously there will be loud music and some what can only be loosely called dancing

Should i wait until i've tried it first before ordering new batteries etc also do i need to get a hundreds cigarette case for it to fit in or will it fit in a regular one any recommendations for a decent case?

Well I did the same thing. If your ecig doesn't work out for you, maybe check my experience and observations:

I don't use an evo, I use a 510, but this is the traveling case I use and it might work well for you:

Micro Center - Compact Portable Hard Drive Case

Holds a lot of gear, about the size zipped up as a large wallet. I keep it in my bookbag or coat pocket.

And welcome to ECF!! Be sure to keep your nic levels on the high side initially to help beat back the analog cravings. And be patient with yourself. Some need some time to completely quit analogs.

Ok guys so after spending hours and i mean hours reading through this site yesterday i couldn't wait to get my EVO so i drove and collected myself.

Thoughts so far

+'s i've only had 2 analogues since in 6 hours which is way down from the 6-8 i'd have normally had seems to stave off most of the cravings:thumbs:, The taste (using regular medium carts 15mg) is pretty good actually kind of a sweet taste to it also bought some rich flavour juice seems good too.

-'s i'm finding it pretty hit and miss getting a decent vape (i'm sure it's technique related though) i keep getting juice coming through into my mouth (maybe sucking to hard much teach girlfriend ;)) The biggest downside is cartridge duration i only seem to be getting 2-3 hours from a cart getting decent vapour had to resort to dipping to get that real cig real i'm craving which will be very impractical when i'm in work

Does anyone in the uk carry the manual batteries for these and the pelican case i've seen on innovapor?

Batteries can be a totally hassel IMO. I went with the 901 and my batteries usually last about 3 hrs before needing a recharge so at the very least I need 3 batteries. For many the ecig is a total Godsend for others not as much so making sure it is for you may be a good thing before putting a lot of money into it.

Sounds like you have an automatic battery.
They take some practice to get them working good sometimes.

Stand in front of a mirror and watch the LED as you take drags.
You want to see how hard you need to draw on it to get that LED lit.
And you want to see how hard you need to draw on it to keep it lit as long as possible.

Most people recommend slower, longer draws.

Or you could just get a manual battery.
:)

Check the sponsoring suppliers tab it should have a a bunch of UK suppliers. I know Totally Wicked is UK and they have a lot of stuff although I think they are pricey. I'm in the US and have ordered from www.eastmall.net really good prices but being located in China takes about 7-10 days to get your stuff.

The art of getting a good vape takes practice and I have experienced the things you are going through and more. A tip that has worked for me to keep the liq out of mouth is to have the tip of the ecig pointing down. You may also want try taking a couple of smaller hits before inhaling this gets me more vapor and better taste.

I can't see anywhere in the UK selling manual batteries for the evo or 401 since 1300 i've used both batteries up and recharged them just had to have an analogue as they're both now dead  I quite like the sensation given and i can see them as a viable alternative if only the batteries coped with demand i may have to look at another model with a pcc at this rate pity because i love the size feel and looks of the EVO black. Any suggestions quite liked the review of the 601 i've just watched that may cope but reluctant to shell out more cash without trying one

Right guys had this a smidge of 24hrs now and it's working a treat in the sense that i've only had 3 analogues it that time (one was forced when both bats where dead) Hardly getting any juice in my mouth now (thanks for the tips) the batteries are lasting about 21/2-3 hours with me vaping quite often on it so ordered some more bats getting happier with it by the minute :D Whilst ordering the bats i found the zenith 510 with a pcc and manual batteries so bought one too  shiny syndrome (if it's shiny i want one:oops:) I'm hoping now that between the 2 ecigs it covers me throughout the day as i'm normally out and about away from a power source. If only they'd released a pcc and manual batteries for my EVO i'd be set.

My wish list for an EVO PCC able to carry 1 battery charging, 1 complete setup, 1 spare atty and 4-6 carts in something about the size (obviously smaller if poss) of an iphone and also compatible with manual bats :D fingers crossed :hubba:
