Tube mod through the back of your neck? I was just thinking about it and it goes something like this. You are slowly making your way through a parking lot, sipping on your favorite tube mod when some jerk backs out of their parking stall too fast and bumps into your front bumper. You were going slow, and what would have been a slightly annoying fender bender may have just turned into the worst day of your life. It all depends on if you had that tube mod aimed at the back of your mouth as the airbag explosively inflates and your head lurches forward toward it as you hit the car in front of you.
Its probably been covered before, but while driving, maybe hold that mod way off to the side. Just saying.

I'm not sure it would go all the way through out the back of your neck, that's a bit of a stretch... but I can see it easily knocking out a few teeth, and then some.

Once while I was happily puffing away at my computer, I had company show up unexpectedly, and my dog suddenly started barking really loud. She was right next to me, and I jumped. The PV was in my mouth at that very moment, and I felt it bounce off my teeth

There is no doubt in my mind that if an airbag were to go off in front of me while I was vaping, that PV would go straight into my mouth and cause all kinds of problems... yes, I do turn it to the side while I'm driving! Better to be safe than sorry...

I vape to the side while driving because I've thought of this, too. I won't let a passenger put their feet up or recline while I'm driving, and I have friends who don't want to wear seatbelts in the backseat...yeah, not on my watch! Better safe than sorry. With the force that airbags carry when deployed, I wouldn't be surprised if a mod went through someone's head and broke the headrest. Airbags are powerful.

Never really thought about this. I use a Reo, so the issue would probably be lessened. However, I think the airbag would be more likely to fling the mod upwards, rather than into your face (depending on how tall you are) because most of the airbag is intended to contact your chest, not your face. I wrecked my celica going 100 mph one time, and the airbag didn't even touch my face. I wasn't vaping at the time, but I can certainly see the danger.

And thinking about it, I suppose the airbag would hit your arm, therefore forcing the mod into your face, but who knows lol.
