How do you set up to vape while driving?

I put 2 or 3 510's in one of those soft cell phone etc. cups that is hooked to dash on the left of my steering wheel.
This way I can change flavors as the mood strikes.

On the drive to So Cal and back, I had a Pelican Case on the passengers seat with a foam block with holes in it that held everything upright and a DSE 905. Worked great. Now with the cartomizers, it would be an even sweeter ride without so much juice topping off each gas stop.

Gawd, of course when I started vaping, the 901 starter kit: 2 batts, 1 atty, 30ml bottle. Pita! The endless batt dance then 5 more batts... Gawd I felt like a girl carrying all this stuff...got the SD...went to 3ml dropper botts and 1 extra batt, the envetable driving and no way to charge a 16340 batt....so I got/made some passthrus... Yikes!!! Got 5vdc and was killing attys...so I got car charger for SD batts. Got/made a 901-801 adapter...that setup stays in car(a van, and no I don't know what color or where I parked he he) except for charger fit dollar store eyeglass case...and second case is alittle smaller for 1 atty, 2 batts, 2 3mls of diff. E-liquid...used some shamwow to line the case with double stick tape for noise and juice droplets on the stuff...and keep binford 9000 e-cig (harbor freight ) tool travel case with stuff in it to open a small store...it's a manly setup...weighs about 16 lbs egg crate foamed for noise and to keep thing from getting beat up.
If I swap SD batts a 1 bottle of juice, the second eyeglass case works for egonado and adapters for 901 & 801 with spare attys...ah what was the OPs question Again? Eyeglass case for going out.... Is mostly what use. He he

My commute isn't as long, but I do like to take longish pleasure drives on rare days off.

I just make sure I have a couple charged batteries and enough juice. But, for extra measure: Have a power port-USB adapter and a PT, works great! For a weekend, where you might be away from the power grid AND your car for some time, take along a charged power pack. On a full charge, mine is good for a couple days worth of vaping.

Oh, and always have redundancy ... atomizers can fail at the worst time.

For my trips, I use a KR808D PT & cartomizers with my car adapter...works like a charm, and no need to worry about battery life. I carry extra cartos in a carrying case that I got with my kit. I can carry 8 cartomizers, as I don't use KR808 batteries now that I have my Saber Touch. Quite honestly, I don't worry about batteries with mods now...my 5v saber touch lasts a full 24 hours on one charge, and my 3.7v saber touch lasted me 5 days on one charge. I will be making use of my PT for the 13 hour drives each way for VapeFest in August!

I use 510 kits, so I got a PCC and leave it in the car with a battery in place at all times, as well as a bottle of juice in the armrest console. When I have enough batteries I often leave another fully-charged spare in the console as well. Then I bring whatever I'm vaping at the time with me: one full 510 and a bottle (usually 15oz size); I use carts and can re-fill on the road no problem.
