Vaping with bad cold or flu

I have been sick for 7 days. started out with flu like symptoms, then went to just a cold and day 7 bad flu like. going to doc. tonight. how does vaping effect your cold, If at all. any experience with this let me know.

well my gf got the flu and i kept vaping, she is allmost over it and it has been two weeks. on her day five i started to get a sore throat, did a warm salt gargle, kept on vaping...and i think i am not going to get it from her. i did not kiss her till she was better, did not share stuff, washed my hands and face, asked her to do the same.
i read here some place that some hospitals use a pg vapor for germ control...cant find it anymore...

Well it seems we are all different in our reactions.

My son had a cold and couldnt vape, as he kept coughing...lol, now me, well I can and do vape with a cold.

However, saying that, I use a mixture of PG and VG. PG as boxhead says is used for germ control, and VG is used in cough syrups, so in theory, the PG should help our immunity and the VG should assist a cure should we get a cold.

Initially vaping can give cold like symptoms, without any virus or bacteria being a contributing factor.

Some people also use Menthol juices when suffering from colds, again, this is bound to help.

Went to the Doc. 3hrs waiting to find out I didn't have the flu. Just a bad cold. Doc didn't say anything bad about vaping so long as I am not smoking. He said cause I quit, I might get some extra coughing but said my lungs were pretty clear.

Oh, by the way I never go to the Doctor., 1st time in 5 years so you know this is a ars kicking cold. I am just wondering if vaping is prolonging it?

Compared to ciggies I dont think vaping will prolong your cold.

You will experience coughs etc., relating to your body getting rid of the nasty chemicals and tar coating your lungs from the ciggies, so thats to be expected.

Get the old Olbas Oil out ...but dont vape it....lololol

You know.... just thinking here, whenever I have had a cold I used to smoke more, and I think I did that knowing that the smoke would make me cough and clear my lungs enabling me to breathe.

So listen to what your body tells you....it knows best..
