Hmmm.... Previous state? Maybe we can start reusing the juice!!!:p

Hmmmm. This calls for SCIENCE!

I'm thinking of a test vessel kind of like those glasses that are double-hulled and have the freezing medium in that void space between. We could exhale the vapour into the vessel and measure how much gets reconstituted.

The one hitch is that we need a completely dry environment to test in, so that no ambient humidity condenses in the vessel. Oh, and we'd need a camel to blow the vapour into the vessel, to reduce any potential water in the exhalation. That means we'd need to train a camel to vape. I wonder how expensive camel trainers are per hour....

Imagine getting THAT research grant across your desk. :p

The weatherman would say that a moist warm front meeting a cold front will result in rain at the squall line where the two meet.

I vape when I walk through the grocery store with my wife. I notice thicker vapor when I stand next to the open refrigerated counters where they keep the butter, cheese, and yogurt.

When I stealth blow vapor downwards in a restaurant it condenses on my beard and feels cool!

Simple very simple....

Your just assisting your bodies natural cooling system. (sweating)

the vapor you exhale condenses on your skin, absorbing the heat from your skin.

Then the PG/VG liquid evaporates from your skin into the air taking the heat with it. That's why you feel a cooling sensation.

Much like when we sweat on a hot breezy day...

Thermal dynamics at its finest...

is my geek showing yet?

Both Propylene Glycol and Glycerin are humectants. Taken from wikipidia, focus on the bolded part...

A humectant /hjuːˈmɛktənt/ is a hygroscopic substance. It is often a molecule with several hydrophilic groups, most often hydroxyl groups, but amines and carboxyl groups, sometimes esterified, can be encountered as well; the affinity to form hydrogen bonds with molecules of water is crucial here.

Since hygroscopic substances absorb water from the air, they are frequently used in desiccation or for humidity buffering.

When used as a food additive, the humectant has the effect of keeping the foodstuff moist. Humectants are sometimes used as a component of antistatic coatings for plastics. Humectants are also found in many cosmetic products where moisturization is desired, including treatments such as moisturizing hair conditioners and also commonly used in body lotions.

Humectants are also used in the manufacture of some cigarettes and other tobacco products.

Humectants are also used in topical dosage forms to increase the solubility of the active ingredient, to elevate its skin penetration and increase its activity time. Humectants also elevate the hydration of the skin to minimize the dehydrating effect of some active ingredients like corticoids.

Don't tell the skin care giants about this one. Another +1 to vaping is healthier looking skin

I say in about a decade or two, we are going to have a side by side shot of smoker vs. vaper

smokers with yellowed shin and teeth, next to a veteran vaper with pearly whites and healthy skin...

what will 10 years of vaping do to you, visually?

I know my hands dont suffer from yellowing anymore...
it was hard to keep my fingertips from yellowing during a 30 cig-a-day habit
