I would trade for it but I am now not going to use any VZ flavors due to my experience with them. I will post my experience in this thread as well:
Another member and I have both received a VapingZone SC Real Cig that turned out to be some other flavor with menthol. We both talked to the same person (Leah) who treated us quite poorly. She told me I have to send the flavor back so they can determine whether or not it was an error. She also told me that no mixups have ever happened (after I asked) and treated me like I was stupid and basically dead-wrong. They also will not reimburse me for shipping charges (I know that is in their shipping policy but I think this is a unique circumstance) when I asked she said "well it's only like a dollar...."
So if two people have received a mentholated Real Cig flavor, and both talked to the same person you would imagine others have called about it as well. Menthol is pretty unmistakable. I also feel like she lied to me about this not happening before, or that there was an issue with this batch of Real Cig. Who knows, though, maybe I was just the first one to call. The other member said he was treated poorly by her as well.
Anyway, I'm just very disappointed with their customer service. Not once did they apologize or admit fault or offer anything to rectify the situation other than having me ship it back for them to "test" and reimburse my money. I feel like they know this is an issue and are trying to hide the fact, that's the only thing that makes sense to me. There must be a good size batch of wrong Real Cig flavors, I just wonder how many. I also wonder why they want all the flavors back - hopefully they are not rebottling and reselling them as whatever flavor they mixed it up with!
The right thing to do would be at least issue an apology and offer another bottle (like every other company does). After this debacle is done I am no longer going to shop there. I've also emailed them a couple of times without any response, only when I called them did they direct me to Leah who was quite rude.
It's a shame, I've been purchasing flavors from them for years and this is how I am treated? It's not about the money (inexpensive) but the principal of the matter. Awful customer service experience.
So long, VapingZone.
I emailed leah at
leah@vapingzone.com, this is what i told her,
"Hello,
I had an issue and i emailed the company, I received a few replies back but they ended up ignoring me. The issue was I received Real-Cig super concentrated flavoring, it had a menthol taste to it. The person who replied to me told me, maybe i mixed things wrong. Being a chemist, I know how to make solutions... each flavor I have has it's own unique tools to avoid contamination of flavorings. i checked my tools/containers for any signs of menthol, no sign of menthol. When I sniffed the Real-Cig flavoring, I smelled the menthold. So no... I didn't mix things wrong. I mentioned to them that there was possible an error on your guys end. That email was just ignored, being a customer of vapingzone.com for over a year now. I didn't appreciate it, other companies I have dealt with would send you a new bottle. I have been vaping for 5yrs and I have dealt with a few companies.
The only reason I moved to Vapingzone.com is because the company i was using previously didn't sell concentrates. I decided to start making my own juice. I was with that company for years. I am a loyal customer. Due to the fact vapingzone.com didn't want to take responsibility, I made a forum post on the largest e-cig/vaping website in the world, discussing my issues. Funny thing is... a few people had the same problem I had, a menthol taste to Real-Cig. Supposedly you said to people who have contacted you, "mix ups never happen." I have seen professors of organic chemistry who have taught for over 25yrs make mistakes in labs. So yes, "mix ups do happen." I don't know how big the lab is where you make juices at is(assuming it's even a lab), but I highly doubt the equipment used to mix these e-liquids are thousands of dollars which would be required for an automated process which will greatly reduce the chance of 'mix ups".
According to the people I have talked to, they will no longer been shopping at vapingzone.com, and neither will I. "
