Hello,

I have been buying Real-Cig super concentrated flavoring from vapingzone.com for the past year. I have been enjoying the juice, but i recently made a new order, I received my juice and it tasted different, like it has menthol in it. I contacted them, they replied a few times, but they didn't want to take responsibility and just ignored me.

I am looking for a new vendor for tobacco based flavorings. Anyone have any recommendations?

I'd drop them another nice e-mail and point them to this thread and the other thread that's complaining about the same thing, and ask if they can send you another bottle.

As far as finding some new tobaccos, the Inawera line has been getting some good reviews and I'm really liking the couple I've tried. I have some more on the way from Bull City. I haven't tried them, but I think a mix of the S'camel and the Virginia ta might be in the same ballpark as Real Cig. Good luck.

Wow, did you talk to Leah as well? That's who I talked to and she did not handle it well and treated me a bit poorly. Told me mixups "never happen" and basically alluded to it being impossible to have a mixup because they pour only single flavors at a time... Obviously more than one person is saying the new Real Cig flavor is menthol. Terrible customer service. I'm appalled, to be honest. I've been a customer there for years and this is how they handle one single little screw up? I'm done with them.

Ok, I'm glad it's not just me then! If we both have menthol Real Cig I have a feeling they messed up a pretty big batch.. I wonder how many they made like this..
If I were them I would try to contact everyone who made a purchase with the wrong Real Cig and offer an apology and at LEAST resend them a new proper Real Cig.
I don't even know why they want it back.. I hope they aren't reselling these flavors after they've been in the hands of customers. I know I would not want to get a flavor that had been returned by someone else.. who knows what happened since it left the VZ building.

[MODERATED - Cleanup of deleted post]

I would have been interested, but as I mentioned I already bought some other flavors. I am the type that just finds 1 flavor and sticks with it.

These are the flavors i bought:

1. Virginia Tobacco by FlavourArt
2. Perique Black Tobacco by FlavourArt

Has anyone tried this?

Also, I will try the flavors mentioned in previous posts next time around.

I would trade for it but I am now not going to use any VZ flavors due to my experience with them. I will post my experience in this thread as well:

Another member and I have both received a VapingZone SC Real Cig that turned out to be some other flavor with menthol. We both talked to the same person (Leah) who treated us quite poorly. She told me I have to send the flavor back so they can determine whether or not it was an error. She also told me that no mixups have ever happened (after I asked) and treated me like I was stupid and basically dead-wrong. They also will not reimburse me for shipping charges (I know that is in their shipping policy but I think this is a unique circumstance) when I asked she said "well it's only like a dollar...."

So if two people have received a mentholated Real Cig flavor, and both talked to the same person you would imagine others have called about it as well. Menthol is pretty unmistakable. I also feel like she lied to me about this not happening before, or that there was an issue with this batch of Real Cig. Who knows, though, maybe I was just the first one to call. The other member said he was treated poorly by her as well.

Anyway, I'm just very disappointed with their customer service. Not once did they apologize or admit fault or offer anything to rectify the situation other than having me ship it back for them to "test" and reimburse my money. I feel like they know this is an issue and are trying to hide the fact, that's the only thing that makes sense to me. There must be a good size batch of wrong Real Cig flavors, I just wonder how many. I also wonder why they want all the flavors back - hopefully they are not rebottling and reselling them as whatever flavor they mixed it up with!

The right thing to do would be at least issue an apology and offer another bottle (like every other company does). After this debacle is done I am no longer going to shop there. I've also emailed them a couple of times without any response, only when I called them did they direct me to Leah who was quite rude.

It's a shame, I've been purchasing flavors from them for years and this is how I am treated? It's not about the money (inexpensive) but the principal of the matter. Awful customer service experience.

So long, VapingZone.

So long, VapingZone.

I emailed leah at leah@vapingzone.com, this is what i told her,

"Hello,
I had an issue and i emailed the company, I received a few replies back but they ended up ignoring me. The issue was I received Real-Cig super concentrated flavoring, it had a menthol taste to it. The person who replied to me told me, maybe i mixed things wrong. Being a chemist, I know how to make solutions... each flavor I have has it's own unique tools to avoid contamination of flavorings. i checked my tools/containers for any signs of menthol, no sign of menthol. When I sniffed the Real-Cig flavoring, I smelled the menthold. So no... I didn't mix things wrong. I mentioned to them that there was possible an error on your guys end. That email was just ignored, being a customer of vapingzone.com for over a year now. I didn't appreciate it, other companies I have dealt with would send you a new bottle. I have been vaping for 5yrs and I have dealt with a few companies.

The only reason I moved to Vapingzone.com is because the company i was using previously didn't sell concentrates. I decided to start making my own juice. I was with that company for years. I am a loyal customer. Due to the fact vapingzone.com didn't want to take responsibility, I made a forum post on the largest e-cig/vaping website in the world, discussing my issues. Funny thing is... a few people had the same problem I had, a menthol taste to Real-Cig. Supposedly you said to people who have contacted you, "mix ups never happen." I have seen professors of organic chemistry who have taught for over 25yrs make mistakes in labs. So yes, "mix ups do happen." I don't know how big the lab is where you make juices at is(assuming it's even a lab), but I highly doubt the equipment used to mix these e-liquids are thousands of dollars which would be required for an automated process which will greatly reduce the chance of 'mix ups".

According to the people I have talked to, they will no longer been shopping at vapingzone.com, and neither will I. "

I have tried Perique from FA, and it is wonderful. So is their 7Leaves and Latakia. 7 Leaves is my ADV at 2%. Try some 3ml samples from Purevapes to see if you like them. And unlike Vaping Zone, their customer service is top notch. Vaping Zone is a Rip Off. Leah is the worst person they could have put in charge of dealing with the public - terse, arrogant, skeptical and unresponsive.

What % did you mix the Perique? I am curious about that.
