Hi, I got some VZ super concentrated flavorings and the recommended amount is 2.5%. Is that a hype or can one really get a nice flavor using only 2.5% flavoring? Most flavors requires 10% to 15% at least.

I like to think in terms of drops per ml, since it's easier to measure. For those of you that have tried VZ super concentrated, what is the concentration you use? (in terms of drops of flavoring per x ml of e-juice)

BTW, are VZ flavorings US made? I kinda prefer US made ingredients.

Finally, I hope to hear some opinions on their "real cig" tobacco flavoring? I've heard it's really good and doesn't require much steep time. Is that true?

Thanks

I haven't tried it yet but did a lot of reading on the SC's.

From what I've read 2.5% is no hype they are very strong so I would say you should start with what they recommend. If you need to do a conversion I would use the same formula you use for your regular concentrations and just substitute your usual percentage for 2.5%. A calculator does come in handy for these sort of figures.

E-Liquid Recipe Name

These SC's come from china VZ does not make there own.

As far as real cig I have not tried it but from what I've read it seems very popular.

I also just bought some including real cig and waiting for them on the mail

what I've gathered is this:
2-3% is good
as this are alcohol based 1ml is about 36-46 drops, check first hand before.
roughly this translates in 12-16 drop per 10ml
again havent had a chance to corroborate this but this is my understanding at this time

I use VZ SC flavoring all the time. 2.5% to 3% is plenty of flavoring. In 10ml of base, pg/vg & nic, that will be 12 to 14 drops right from the bottle. If you use a juice calculator I've found changing the drops per ml to 46 makes the calculators accurate for these flavorings. If you go heavier on the flavoring it can kill the flavoring or make it completely over powering.

The Real Cig Flavor is very good as are all the tobaccos. I use it and Desert Ship and 555 all the time. I also use Dunhill, Black Cigar, Cigar, Honey Flue Cured in some mixes. The Island Tobacco is very good.

These are not American made, but have been used for over 2 years now and are some of the best and easiest to use flavors.

The Gourmet Flavors line only takes 1% or 5drops per 10ml.

I use 2.5-3% on tobaccos, for fruits its usually 4-4.5%. Real Cig seems to be good right at 2.5% with a drop of vinegar.

I cannot recommend the VZ SC flavors enough. It really is the easiest way to get started in DIY. I've gone as high as 5.5% and haven't passed into the dreaded "over flavored" zone, and no chemical or perfume-y overtones.

I found 2.5% to be just a little weak for me using 100% VG, no distilled water or PGA added. I've gone up to 3% with the tobacco SC's, and 4% with the fruits. I only have a total of 10 flavors so far, and my mixes haven't even steeped a week yet. I've liked all of them, and will definitely be ordering many more.

The 40-46 drops per ml seems to be accurate.

Does anyone know who makes these flavors? I'm not looking to buy from the source, I just don't want to buy the same SC's from another vendor expecting different results. I'm very happy with Vape Zone, I just wish I could place an order when there is a sale going, not 2 days before like I always seem to do.

I have Cigar, which I use at 2% and adore. Parliament, also at 2% but requires long steeping. Carolina Tobacco, also 2%. Requires a steep time but not as long as Parliament.
Also, FlavourArt makes super concentrates also. I got a couple of the tobaccos. Royal which I do at 1%, love it. Mellow Sunset I'm not sure about yet. Not digging the taste so far but it could just need steeping.

I do not know if its any help to you but ecf10 will give you 5% off at anytime on anything on the site if you spend I believe 30 dollar. I can't say enough good things about the Gourmet line either worth every penny although some are out of stock at the moment. The last sale I bought larger bottles of my favorite SC's. They seem to run the sales from Thursday to Sunday night every other week if that is any help.

You could try the SC's at ECX but although similar they are not exactly the same and I don't know why on that. I got alot of both and finally stayed with VZ as they taste consistently right to me and have some flavors not offered at ECX. Another way to look out for sales is get on the mailing list. You can also sign up to be notified when anything out of stock comes back in the Gourmet line. I have heard horror stories lately about credit card theft issues at ECX lately that makes me stay away for now too. I know they are working hard to make the site as secure as possible on that one but the inconsistencies of several things I have ordered has kept me at VZ waiting for the sales.

Steeping this does not help! LOL! Least not for me...3 weeks later on the Mellow and I'm about ready to toss that!

I've got the VZ SC Real Cig, Black, Honey Tob one or two other Tob (Names aren't coming to me right now and I'm too lazy to get up and look! ) also their Peaches and then Cream...start out at 2.5% REALLY!

Really 2.5%, it is Super Comcentrated. 12 drops from the bottle into 10ml of liquid is 2.5%. 14 drops will give you 3%. The Cigar Flavor is a mellow flavor. I don't mix any of those over 3% and it's more than enough flavor. Been using these for a long time.

I think it was a statement, not a question or disbelief. LoL
It's a shame about Mellow Sunset. The description sounded nice. Supposed to be a mellower form of Dark Vapure... and so far it tastes like stale salsa or something... which was not the description of either flavoring.
