I sent a bad atomizer back (my 2nd) and emailed Debbie about it. She emailed me back saying that she had sent out a new atomizer & a free bottle of juice on 3/26/09. I still didn't have it after a week (normally only takes 2 days from CA to OR) so I emailed Debbie on 4/2/09 to let her know I hadn't received the atomizer. I had a quick reply back from Deana saying that Debbie was no longer with the company... and that she would send another atomizer & free bottle of juice right away... and if I did receive the previous package (supposedly sent by Debbie) to just return it. I had the new atomizer & free juice from Deana in 2 days.... and the other package from Debbie never did arrive. I'm not sure what happened with Debbie leaving... but so far Deana has been very helpful. Have had my replacement atomizer now since April 4th and it too has "bit the dust" again so need to send it back for a replacement. My other atomizer is still doing fine... as well as the two batteries that were replaced in February. Having battery issues with my orginial kit.. and trying them along with the replacement batteries... I didn't see a huge difference. I finally just kept the 2 that I thought worked the best. The batteries are way too sensitive to shutting down, and the draw has to be done too slow and long for my taste.. but I finally tried using the Vapor 1000 without a cartridge (just dripping on the atomizer and drawing directly from the atomizer) and it works so much better for me that way. :) Even just dripping I get a lot more draws on the Vapor 1000 than I did having to fill the cartridge on the 901 or my Dura. I still love the Dura & 901.. but the very short battery life is so annoying. I keep my Dura (and lots of extra batteries ) for when I go out... since it's much smaller than the Vapor 1000.. and am using the Vapor 1000 almost all the time now when I'm at home.

So... as of now I'm still very happy with the Vapor 1000 (but mostly due to the great warranty) but it does still has it's problems just like ALL the rest of the e-cigs right now. I just don't feel that I can complain at all about having to send back a few bad parts now and then, since they DO have a super warranty... and love not having to buy full price replacement parts! This will of course depend on the customer service continuing to getting the replacement parts sent out etc. so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that any customer service issues get worked out... and I will continue to get good service from Vaporcig.com! :)

Well so far my wifes pink 1000 is trucking along fine, both batteries work great so far. I have to admit that my Penstyle from China(I think Eastmall) is working great too! I've had it for about a month or so and the darn thing is working just like new. Same for the small eCig from we got from Eastmall about a month ago, still cranking along fine.

My order from Pure Smoker though didn't work right out of the box and their "customer service" has been sorry. I really wish it worked though as I finally managed to get the stainless penstyle and like the looks of it, pretty cool.

Just wanted to update everyone on my experience so far with my pink Vapor 1000. I've had it for about two weeks now, and it rocks! I haven't had any battery or atomizer issues whatsoever, and everything has been running smooth. After about a week of heavy use, I did notice slightly less vapor production, but after I cleaned out my atomizers, they worked just like new. Batteries probably last me about 5 or 6 hours on average before I need to recharge them, but I pretty much vape on the thing constantly since I completed replaced analogs with it. I am happy to say that this device enabled me to abandon analogs pretty much immediately after I started using it, which is much more than I expected. I haven't even had a craving for an analog, which is totally awesome! And for those wondering, I was a pack to pack and a half a day smoker of full flavor menthol cigarettes for almost 13 years.

Those of you that are having problems with reaching Vaporcig by email, I'd recommend e-mailing again or just calling them. I've had a couple of times where I emailed them and didn't get a reply right away, so I just emailed them again the next day and got a prompt reply. Also, I've called them or had them call me several times and had nothing but pleasant experiences. If you ordered from them before, you should have received cards and instructions containing their phone number. Perhaps some of the emails are going into their junk folder or something. If you actually talk to them, their customer service is excellent. Thus far, I have spoken with Deanna several times by phone and email with pleasant experiences, and I have spoken with Ruby by phone with a pleasant experience. So if they don't email you back, it's probably just an error of some sort.

I got my kit on 3/17/09. Everything worked great for a week then one atomizer blew and took the battery with it. Debbie was my contact. Quick service and fast turn around time. She sent replacement pink with a return envelope for me to return my parts in. (I paid less than $2.00 for the return) Last Sunday the pink battery just died. I sent an email. When I did not get a reply Monday at noon I sent a 2nd notice and when that did not get a reply I called at 4:55pm. Ruby was great and apologetic and said she would send a replacement that night. My replacement battery arrived on Thursday. My batteries seem to last about 3-4 hours continual use. I use the black atomizer more than the pink as the pink seems to have a lighter draw than I like. Could be a break in period as it does seem better since I have been using it more. It seems to require dripping on the atomizer more than the black one as well.
This is the only kit or e-cig I have. 0 analogs 40 days now and constantly vaping so the initial investment with 1 return shipping cost seems pretty good but at the time I was unaware of the Senate hearing and the Waxman Bill coming up. I would be more wary of paying for something which could become illegal. A lifetime guarantee doesn't last long if the business is forced to shut down.
It has worked out well for me and I am more than happy with my vapor 1000.

Hmmm, Over A Month or Two Ago, Debbie Was Nice & Replaced With No Problem My Vapor 1000 (1) Blue Batt & (1) Blue Atomizer, Those Worked! The Previous Vapor 1000 Ones Batteries & Atomizers Went Dead (Tested All). They Have Definite Battery Issues and the Atoms are Hit Or Miss.

I Spoke to her about a week later (Debbie, She Called Me After I Emailed her About Them Not Working Again), She Said No Problem & Would Replace them. I Never Received The Replacement Vapor 1000's. I Had Already Sent The Other Brand New Blue Color Original (2) Batts & (2) Atoms Back Per Debbie For Exchange For New Ones, Sent it & Paid Extra For USPS Delivery Confirmation (and put in a copy of the Email She Sent Me To Return Them).

I Also Emailed Debbie the USPS Confirmation Number.

I Never Heard Back or Got Replacements....

About 2 Weeks The Other Vapor 1000 Replacement That Was Working is Dead Too...

When I Had (1) Working One Going It Was Pretty Good.

I Emailed Debbie Via The Website & Her Other Email Back a few Times, no response & a couple email bounces.

I have plenty of other E-Cigs to Vape & always getting new ones and just forgot about it.

Interesting You Say She Is Gone Now, She Seemed Pretty Good Handling Customer Service. Maybe This is why I never got my replacements? So Now I Have Nothing but A Bad Taste in My Mouth..

Keep Vapin!

Cellmeister,

I'm not sure what happened with Debbie leaving, but she had (supposedly) mailed me a replacement atomizer that never arrived. When I tried to e-mail her again she was gone, and I had a reply back from Deana who said she would mail out another one right away (and she did, I got it 2 days later) and to just mail back the other one if it did happen to arrive. I had my replacement atomizer go out again, and contacted Deana to let her know I'd sent it back again. She emailed me saying she was sending another one, and also told me that the package that Debbie sent did finally come back to them with postage due. Not sure if this is what happened with your replacement (since it seems it was about the same time frame?) so I would get in touch with Deana and find out. She is every bit as helpful as Debbie was, if not more. Both of my original batteries are still working fine, have just had 3 atomizers go out. Not minding much... I don't mind paying the shipping to get them replaced vs. buying brand new ones. I've lost count of how many 901 atomizers I've gone through (past warranty) since I started vaping in January!

Well, after all the reviews, and after weeding through all the bs. I've decided to make the Vapor 1000 my next vp (I was looking at it anyways). That is once I get enough money. I ordered a E9M from E-cigs.com and have not received it yet. Should have it soon (or so the e-mail says). Are there any reviews on e-cig.com or their products? I has thinking of getting their cartridge pack that has all the flavors in it, so I can see which ones I like. Any info on this company or the E9M would be much appreciated. Thanks

The only update I have is that when I purchased from Vapor Cig they had a lifetime warranty on their atomizers, but now on their web site it says a 30 day warranty on both the battery & atomizers. Both atomizers I have from them are dead now, and I have been going to email and ask what the new warranty means for those that purchased when they were (suppose) to be a lifetime warranty. Will do that and report back. I did have good customer service from them in the beginning (I think I purchased last January, and had several problems with batteries & attys and they were replaced with no problem.)

I actually went to their offices today and bought one, Now this being my first in hand E-Cigarette, I have ordered some others as I want to one make sure I have some around, I live in California and well what can I say about our state government.... IDIOTS
And second I want to make sure I am happy with something.

The ladies there were very nice and helpful, I looked at both the 1000 and the 2000, but went with the 1000, as I really didn’t want anything that looked like an analog.

The packaging is pretty nice, but seemed a little generic, just has “electronic cigarette” printed on the top. Nothing to really brand it the “Vapor 1000”. Inside were two automatic batteries, the atomizer, wall charger and some carts. The lady I worked with and I am sorry I cannot recall her name also gave me a pretty large bottle of “Juice or liquid” never sure which term to use. And she showed me how to refill the carts, I am happy she took the time to explain how to do all this. I was even going to buy another atomizer and she talked me out of it. I think their customer service so far is pretty darn good.

So I got home with my package and immediately began charging one battery, she said I would probably get a few hours out of the factory charge in the other.

Looking in the package there I discovered a slip, which denotes this as a DSE-801. Being new I have no idea how many models there are of this cigarette, but I did a quick Google search and found a similar package for considerably less. I will not complain about the cost as had I ordered it I would be waiting and had spent the difference on analogs anyway.

So far I like it. I asked about guarantee and warranty and both are only 30 days. She told me the warranty used to be longer, but with limited supply it was now only 30 days. She explained that the FDA had stopped allowing these to be shipped in from China, where they are produced. I have not had time to research this but it is something our Idiot elected officials would do.

Again so far I am satisfied with the performance of the Vapor 1000, and expect it to get better once the atomizer is conditioned. Time will tell. I am also waiting on my delivery of a 510 and a Vapor King.

I'm happy to hear that you had a good experience with Vapor Cig, and it's nice that you were able to get help 'in person' for questions about your first e-cig :) I emailed them about my atomizer warranty, and since I purchased on the old warranty they are going to replace them (so I was very pleased) but I'm sure this will be the last time. I'm guessing that they are not 'risking' having any more shipments sent from China, because she is right, some of the large shipments from China are being seized, and suppliers risk losing a lot of money. It's hard to say what the future holds if the FDA does 'officially' ban e-cigs.

The Vapor 1000 was my first 801 style e-cig (I had been using a 901 before that.) I liked the 801, except I never was crazy about the draw on it. It was too 'airy' for me. I ended up using it without the cartridge, and just dripped 2-3 drops of juice into the atomizer at a time (you just have to be make sure you keep the atomizer wet.) I really liked it that way :) Even though you could get a 801 kit for less, one nice thing is that they do still have their 30 day money back guarantee - so if you decide you don't like the 801 you can return it. I don't know what size of juice/liquid you got with it, but that is also a nice plus that you don't get with most 801 kits. If you decide to order another style I would also recommend the 510. Even though the batteries only last a couple of hours at most (for me) I do love the 510. :)

Edit: oops... I see you did order a 510 & a Vapor King! I've heard good things about the Vapor King too.. but have never tried it.
