I received my sample-size bottles from VaporBomb and FSUSA today. I've rated them based on throat hit, flavor, and vapor production. I used an RN4072 (801), a DSE-905 (901), and an RN4072 atty on a VaporKings.com USB passthrough (5v). Although different equipment provides different TH and flavor, the results are an average across all 3 of the equipment. Also keep in mind that taste is very subjective when it comes to e-liquid. Let's get started on the review.

VaporBomb

Desert Ship (24mg, 40/60 [vg/pg])

TH: 8/10
Flavor: 8/10
Vapor: 8/10

Definitely a good vape across the board. Dances with the taste-buds on the inhale, reminding me of what sawdust smells like (very slightly sweet, woody flavor), and finishes with a bolder, breadcrumb flavor on exhale. Like eating dry toast while sanding down some birch wood. I like that flavor combination.

Virgina (18mg, 40/60)

TH: 6/10
Flavor: 2/10
Vapor: 7/10

A rather weak, flavorless blend. All I can detect is a hint of sweetness, and a faint hint at that. Maybe they didn't put enough flavor in, or this flavor needs to be more on the VG side of the spectrum. Either way, it was rather disappointing.

Pineapple (18mg, 40/60)

TH: 6/10
Flavor: 9/10
Vapor: 8/10

This flavor is amazing. It tastes almost exactly like pineapple. An extra dash of flavor to the bottle would have given this one a 10/10 on flavor. It's not like candy pineapple, it's very close to how the real fruit tastes, minus the acid (although on 5v it hits the glands like pineapple, enough to make you salivate a bit). Very real-fruity, and very good on vapor production. Our room-mate noticed the smell and said it smelled exactly like fresh-cut pineapple. If VaporBomb does this well on Pineapple (this was a freebie, by the way), I HAVE TO try their other fruit flavors.

FreedomSmokeUSA

American Spirit (24mg, unknown vg/pg)

TH: 9/10
Flavor: 10/10
Vapor: 8/10

This is not my first dealings with FSUSA. My first round, I discovered RY4 and Wyatt Earp. This time, I wanted to try something different. I saw American Spirit on their list and I had not seen it before, so I am assuming it's a new flavor, and let me tell you, it's a slam dunk. If you like earthy flavors, you will adore this one. It's mellow, but with outstanding nuances. I first noticed the flavor that I can only describe as a field on a summer night, after it has rained. That flavor is followed by a smooth smoke flavor with woody hints, like a very distant campfire. This one really has a psychological effect, as well as very pleasant flavoring. It's soothing, calming, and has enough of that smoke flavor to satisfy us tobacco juice lovers.

Virginia (24mg, 30/70)

TH: 8/10
Flavor: 1/10
Vapor: 7/10

Grab a piece of paper and lick it. That's FSUSA's Virgina blend. Dry, papery flavor. Nice throat hit, nice vapor, bad flavor.

Pall/Mall (24mg, unkown vg/pg)

TH: 9/10
Flavor: 8/10
Vapor: 8/10

This flavor reminds me of an ultra-light 100's Pall Mall cigarette, my old brand favorite for analogs when I smoked them. Subtle smoke, hits the throat nice, and a nice mellow tobacco flavor. I gave it an 8/10 on flavor because it does have an unusual tang to it, but after some maturation that could change. A nice tobacco flavor for sure.

Conclusion

VaporBomb surprised me with the Pineapple, and it's simply delicious. FSUSA surprised me with their new American Spirit flavor, and it's an amazing vape. Not an "all day" vape, but great for the evenings. The Desert Ship and the Wyatt Earp (freebie sample that came with this order as well) are better suited for me all-day flavors. Both companies failed on the Virginia blend, but if VaporBomb added some more flavor to theirs, maybe it would make a difference. Maybe.

Both companies excel in the tobacco-flavor department, but I am regretting going with more PG than VG. I think a 50/50 mix would have been better, but that's the nature of trying new things. You vape, you learn.

I prefer my glands to be caressed, not hit. Other than that, nice reviews.

"Like eating dry toast while sanding down some birch wood." LOL! Add some Peanut Butter w/Honey and I am there.

It doesn't hit the glands in a painful way, but you can feel it.

I love that some of the liquids have a psychological effect. It's more than flavor, it's context. I can easily put my mind into different places upon the first hit with these amazing liquids, which is evident that these are complex flavors but also satisfying for the tobacco addict in me.
