I have had mine now for a couple days but, it's been great all around so far no flaws that I can find on the device or chip. the vapor shark type coating feels good and it's holding up sofar but, it's still a bit early to really tell loving this mod...

What my "rubber coating looks like"

I will say the finish under the "rubber coating" is supper strong and is holding up very very well. I actually like the nonrubber feel better.

I fixed my battery problem by taking the top bolts out, tightening the brass bolt that holds the 510 connector on and retightning the tops bolts.


I just attached the folder. Idk why it won't imbedd my pics it shows a red X when I try..

There is no way a virtually new mod should look like that....VS finishes really suck. Why can't they just keep all of their mods (flask included) with a solid metal finish that will actually last???

I would love to send it back but I have no other mod. I can't go without my vape. The finish under the rubber coating is very nice.

I will NEVER buy anything from vaporshark again... Sorry vaporshark but I spent 200$ on this mod and the finish is crap. I have put this thing threw hell though...

The battery problem is the thing that's got me the most pised off... IV ttried tightening the top screws, the brass bolt on the bottom side of the 510 connector. No luck. Battery meter fluctuates and I get low battery msg with fully charged genuine lg he2 batteries... Hot off my charger. IV cleaned the threads and brass battery covers. Tried dielectric grease too. Any ideas?

Il take some pictures of the crappy plastic they used to hold the chip, top spring loaded positive battery connectors... I have a ground issue I think.

I can garentee it won't.... There is no way it will unless you baby the thing. Sorry be careful if you like the rubber coating. Im slowly peeling mine off

Well despite one bad report I went ahead and pulled the trigger today. There's always going to be exceptions to the rule but I think the positives outweigh the negatives. I love my original VF and I see a couple of things to like even more on this one.

Not sure why I cannot find a thread on the rDNA but hope it is alright to ask in here. I bought mine about 3 weeks ago and loved it until yesterday. No matter what atty I put on it I get message that says "check atty"
I have tried extending the 510 on all Taifuns (3) and to no avail. These atty's all work on my IPV and Vamo and Provari.
Same message, 'check atty" flashes at me.
Any advice?

I'm waiting to see the new SX350J Flask before making a decision, so it's between that, the Shark Flask, waiting for a DNA200 Flask, or getting a second original DNA40.

Too many Flask choices at the moment.
