Good luck with that:p, I ordered from Janty USA 2 weeks ago and haven't heard or seen anything since I sent instant payment via PayPal. No shipping, payment received, order complete... email, or snail. Only info received was from PayPal and Bank.

I've had orders drop shipped from Hong Kong quicker.

Hey SD, (love the avatar BTW Jables is hilarious)

I'm another victim of Janty's crap customer service. I asked for a refund, but have still not heard back from them on it.

Thing is, my wife and I are desperately trying to get ahold of a decent e-cig so we can try to quit analogs together. There's yet another tax hike on the way for analogs due Apr. 1st and we decided "Screw THAT!"
Those crooks who demonize smoking sure are quick to jump on the free cigarette money train and tax the piss out of it.

Anyway, Janty was my 1st e-cig experience, and they really screwed me over. I'm thinking of trying puresmoker.com, or totallywicked (based on your review and others) Which do you think would be better/faster for a 1st time e-smoker?

Sorry for the long post.

I'll tell you my theory right now would be go with TW, only because Pure Smoker has just reopened and had a virtual line at the door a mile long. If they actually have what you want in stock they should be pretty quick about it. Don't hesitate to contact Steve and ask if his shipments are going out quickly, steve @ puresmoker com... he will answer where TW will not. But I live in NH, USA and TW order usually shows up in three days. The Pure Smoker order might actually be quicker since the move we'll have to see on that one, I was in the virtual line. TW ships quick, quality products... but don't expect any responses to emails, you may try calling in an order and see what happens. My rep was Patti Centari 1 (877) 761 9425

If you have never used an e-cig before and want to quit smoking I would have to recommend an entirely different animal though, vaporguys.com and the SuperMini. You will see lots of talk about big vapor and lots of draw time... as someone never using e-cigs you don't want this, you will choke, and your eyes pop out of your head sucking for more than 5 seconds! The SuperMini is as close to a regular cig I can find. I'm just being honest guys, I would have given up on e-cigs if it wasn't for the SuperMini. Since then I have moved on to other models and find different models for different activities is really the way to go, but I always use my SuperMini most of the day. I think this would be similar to the PureSmoker PeeWee and the Totally Wicked Super E.Cig, but understand that not all sizes are the same. They use different relays in the batteries, different cuts in the brass for draw, and different carts for e-liquid distribution to the atomizer. My only hands on is with the SuperMini from vaporguys.com, and they too have quick shipment 3-4 days to NH, USA.

I even thought of trying the Evo from Intellicig. Even though they're in Ireland I've read good comments of their customer service and response time.

Yeah, but how's the product. BEWARE DSE901 is used everywhere, I have three and all three are different. LiteCig has outstanding service, quick response and very helpful. Worse 901 I have. Very cheap product, not just performance but you can actually feel it in the metal. Very tinish. I actual used one over the weekend to tear apart and see just how these things are made. Think of e-cigs as All Original Antique Cars vs. Custom Rebuild All Steel vs. Custom Rebuild Fiber Glass vs. Kit Car. The problem with e-cigs is they all say Cobra, with very little detail after that.

I looked at models like the Peewee, but after reading some reviews I was concerned that the vapor production and "throat hit" wouldn't live up to my expectations as an (hopefully) ex-smoker.

So many choices.

I'll be glad when/if e-cigs pass FDA approval and some American companies get involved in manufacturing them. I think alot of the problems from ALL e-cigs are that some components are cheap Chinese crap.
Hell they can't even make kids toys w/ out poisoning them w/ lead.

I think Big Tobacco is INSANE for not picking up the ball here and running w/ it. Not only do they grow the tobacco to extract the nicotine from, but they have the money to buy patents and improve existing tech. Not to mention the cash needed to get e-cigs "certified" safe by some medical doctors.

To me this is similar to the Movie/Record industry's "fight" against piracy. Big Corps JUST DON'T GET IT. Technology will always evolve and adapt, no matter how much you try to control it.

Actually Philip Morris developed something similar in the 80's and also developed Smokeless Tobacco, but for some strange reason all development and test markets where canceled. As Arsenio Hall would say... Hmm.

Also, FYI e-cigs do contain lead. I'm assuming this was your China reference. BUT, big BUT, they contain less than your current analog cigarettes. It's a normal byproduct of the Nicotine extraction.

Now, an unfortunate issue is in the States. Increased Lead. Growers in the U.S. are allowed to use Apatite to starve the plant of nitrogen and increase flavor. The problem is Apatite contains Lead and Radium which is why it's banned in other countries.

I just received my super mini today and love the taste but the draw is really, really hard. This seems to be contrary to what's been written about their performance. Am I doing something wrong? Do I have a defect? Any suggestions?

I don't have hard draw at all. Make sure the battery is FULLY charged, I have some Janty's that the draw gets hard on about 10-20 minutes before battery dies. Also, any new e-cig, seems hard and vapor week until the atomizer wick gets saturated. If you have some e-juice drop two drops on the atomizer coil, let it soak a couple of minutes. If you don't it should work itself out by the second battery.

Verify you got the same one I got too. It should have no labels on it anywhere and the brass piece between the atomizer and battery should have 4 little squares cut out and just above the atomizer threads there's a hole drilled all the way through. This is what makes the draw so easy. It would not be the first time distributers changed brands, but not names.

Yes, we have the same model.

I removed the battery and compared the draw to the second atomizer that came with the kit.

Hard draw atomizer --- holes just under the threads appear to be completely blocked by something white.

Less hard draw atomizer --- holes are half blocked.

Perhaps I can use a needle to nudge the blockage away from the hole. What do you think?

Thanks!!!

I have two atomizers and one has no blockage, can't see white. The other has little edge of white on one side of one of the holes. It appears as though it is to separate the +/- center pin and outer ring of the atomizer. If you attempt to nudge it use a sewing needle and gently pry it up towards the battery connector. Be very careful as I'm sure there is a lead wire in there and if it's short it will snap.

It's stiff and not budging. I could try a drill but that would most likely destroy the atomizer. I think it needs to go back to Kurt.

Thanks a lot for your help!

It should not be a problem, I've never had any issues with them... and that's saying a lot with these things. Until they get more mainstream there will be issues in production and distribution.

I ordered recently from a Chinese vendor which I will leave nameless, and ordered two of everything and 4 batteries just to make sure I didn't wait two weeks for nothing... all crap. I had to drill, rewire... nothing but crap. These little guys still vape flawlessly.

It's been said in this forum many times, you either get one that lasts for ever or it does not work at all... unfortunately you seem to be the later.
