Vapor has it's own distinction now?

After the flight that got aborted due to deicers and many calling it smoke, while all outlets called it vapor... Does this bring up a new validity to our vapor?

Seems to me like it should as they refused to call it smoke and repeatedly said vapor over and over, stating it was non harmful or deadly.

Edit: I believe if they wanted vapor banned they took a huge miss step here, as they invalidated many of the arguments against vaping.

People besides vapers don't relate vapor to ecigs so there really isn't any connection here

Hmm, unfortunately, it now sets a precedent for an emergency landing in the case of vapour.

edit: And, after a thought, I think I'm okay with this. If the "symptoms" of a leak into the power valve look/smell the same as somebody vaping, then it's definitely not okay to put the safety of passengers over my/vapers' personal comfort for a few hours.

Heck, I've flown about 8 times since I started vaping (2 of those long-hauls Van->Hong Kong) and have never vaped on a plane.

This was caused by deicing fluid... which can be made of ethylene glycol.
Ethylene glycol is considered toxic. This is why the safety of the passengers was a concern.

I also fail to see what this has to do with e-cigs....

The flight was delayed because the leaking fluid created a white, odorless haze inside the plane that frightened passengers.
That doesn't sound like a thumbs up for vaping to me.

No one wants to see a haze rising inside a plane. Smoking on planes has been banned for so long now most people don't even remember it so seeing "smoke" on a plane is no longer normal.
