Vapor King and Tennesee Cured

Hi everybody. Upon reading pretty good reviews of Tennesee Cured, I bought myself a bottle of the zero nicotine kind and dripped some into a blank cartomizer I have to go with my Vapor King. Sadly, the taste is weird. When I inhale, it tastes like...burnt water? And I only taste the TC when I exhale, which is nice, but not good enough to justify the inhale. I drip about 8 drops in and then spin it around on my ceiling fan for about thirty seconds and drop another six or seven in, then shake it and blow through it a little bit to get rid of any excess liquid. Am I doing something wrong? Is TC supposed to taste like this?

I've also tried mixing TC with a bit of menthol crystals; this seems to have no effect on the inhale, and completely kills the flavor on the exhale. This seems odd to me, because I've read plenty of people saying TC with menthol tastes pretty good.

Well, after some experimentation it seems that there's two possibilities. Either I haven't been putting enough juice in the cartomizer, or my blank cartomizers taste terrible. Maybe it's a combination of the two. I put twice as much juice in as I normally do, and used one of my pre-filled cartomizers that I'd used up already, and it tasted much better.

I'm still not a fan of TC though. Very little taste on the inhale.

Don't Panic! It is not uncommon to have juice "taste weird" when you first get it. Place it in a dry and cool place for a week, then try it again. I have had many juices taste funky upon arrival, only to have them change over a week or two of after sitting. Generally it's the taste of the inhale that changes dramatically for the better and the exhale even more so. I just went through this with some Sour Green Apple, it took it 3 weeks to sweeten up and now it's spot-on for vaping.

Welcome to the ECF!
