I may just be paranoid but while using my vapor king the atomizer gets pretty hot I just wanted to know if this is normal.

Also, What would you suggest getting? I've seen a lot of good things about ProVape. I know its a big question but there has to be one that's a little more popular than the most.
Do you mean the Cartomizer? Is this Vapor King from Vapor4Life? If so the mouth part is a cartomizer (they call them carts). And yes the atomizer is inside but we call them cartos to distinguish from the atty of a 3-piece model.
Vapor4Life has 2 kinds of cartos - I like the Coolcarts (which are above 3 ohm) and they won't get hot on your lips. The ones they call "WOW" carts as blanks are the hotter ones (and below 3 ohms). Ask V4L which flavors are in Coolcarts, or buy the Coolcarts blanks and fill them yourself.
If you mean something else called Vapor King then I don't know.
And BTW - if you ever want a really soft experience with a Vapor King (the V4L one) put a standard (not LR) 901 atty and 901 cart on it instead of the cartomizers. The 901 screws right on and is a soft vapory tasty atty.

Well, what you have is a cartomizer and it may get hot. Some people like to use a drip tip even with cartomizers (as a mouthpiece....you can't drip into the carto) so that it's not too hot on their lips. It's a good e-cig. Once you get used to it, I'm sure you'll like it.
Would just like to say that you CAN drip into a carto via a driptip (DT) -- as a way of topping off or refilling. It's not the same as "Dripping" an attie, but many of us "drip" cartos.

Ahhh - no wonder you are confused. We thought you meant the more common Vapor4Life's Vapor King which is a two piece model.
You have a 3 piece model of the same name (no idea which used that name first). I don't know what model Vapor King's "Vapor King" is, but you are correct, it has an atomizer (the middle part). It's probably a 510. 510's run a bit hot. But it shouldn't get excessively hot unless the atomizer (which we abbreviate atty) is not getting enough juice. Try topping off the cartridge more often with ejuice from a bottle.
Also if the juice-holding part of the cart is sort of a rectangle shape (i.e. 510 shape) try to line it up with the atty bridge

The main thing is to make sure the cart has enough juice but not too much. And if the juice-holding part is that rectangular shape I mentioned, then when the white stuffing stops working well, try replacing it with blue foam cart stuffing. I don't really recommend this place's juices but the blue foam precut pieces for 510 are nice (easier than cutting your own)

Is there any mods that would enhance the model I have? Besides the above mention foam. Which I will definitely be purchasing.
Also will replacing the foam keep from having to buy more and more cartridges? I've already grown tired of that.

I feel I may be posting a lot but I have a lot of questions. Say I'm wanting to get a different 510 model (If I'm not mistaken that is what I have) Like say the Joye510, The charger I got from my VK starter kit would work on the Joye510 as well, right?

Yes, you can use any brand 510 battery on your charger. And any brand 510 atty on your batteries, (not LR..low resistance, or HV..high voltage)
I ended up with 11 batteries to keep charged until I got a box mod for longer battery life, still uses 510 atties. Then I bought the eGo for looks, still the 510 atty, but has its own charger !
What is great is that no matter what you have, you can get an adapter and be able to try any atty on any battery. Have fun, ask questions, read the wonderful stickies.....and just go at it till you find what works for you !
