Vapor Lounges

So have any Vapor Lounges popped up in any cities yet?
I'm from St. Louis and one is opening up called the 314 Vapor Lounge. Will have a pool table, flat screens, nice sound system, quite room for studying or reading. Sounds pretty sweet to me. Grand opening is tomorrow and I'll be there.

Would love to hear if anything like this is already around somewhere. And what was the reception from a place like that? did people like it? Use it?
Thanks!

We don't have a vapor lounge in my town yet. I heard one was in the making but it didn't look too nice. :( The B&M I go to is also a hookah lounge (but you can only smoke hookah inside on weekend nights), so it can double as a vape lounge since the tables, pool table, and entertainment is already set up. They let you vape in there anytime.

When I was in North Carolina I went to Dark City Vapor and he was working on an awesome vape lounge. He didn't have it totally set up yet but it was HUGE with a large flat screen TV, xbox + games, DirecTV, speakers, wifi, awesome reclining chairs, plenty of places to just lounge and sit. I didn't want to leave!

Sounds awesome! I hope over time they will keep adding and building turning It into something like that. Then I might actually go there quite often

Well at Dark City Vapor, he makes and sells his own juice. Has over 80 flavors and even has a flavor menu in the lounge and a juice bar full of samples in pre-filled tanks. Also sells starter kits, batteries, gear etc. I'm assuming that's where the cash flow is. He wasn't charging to chill in the lounge when I was there. Maybe he'll charge if he holds an event or something though.

Here's what I just posted in the New Members forum...

My sister and I took another "journey" yesterday, this time to Jacksonville, NC. Went to Diamond Vapor Lounge off of Henderson Drive. OMG, this guy has really got it going on! He had low end stuff, ego's and clearo's at ok prices, he had mech mod clones, at really decent prices, he showed me his one actual mod, not a clone...I forget the name, but he was proud of it. They carry Mt.Baker Vapor, don't make their own, but they will mix you up anything from the MBV line if you want. Something new for me was that he carries "Grim Green's juices"....I didn't know he put out a juice line, but the "Crackberry" was fantastic...(think blueberry high taste!!!) He said that was his #1 seller. He also had juice from the "Jackson Vapor" line, another one I had never heard of, high end, high price (24.95/30ml). And....every first time customer gets a free 15ml MBV juice of your choice with first purchase. (Ha, he said, "you can buy a cup of coffee and get a free juice!!!) I ended up getting a juice, Amelia, from the Jackson line, very nice vape, and I also got a 5ml glass tank with metal housing (its a RG500, glass atomizer--for $19! 5ml glass in a metal housing. And he said if I had ANY trouble with it, bring it back by and he'd fix it. He also threw in a couple of mini-Davide tanks....free....just because he saw mine and asked if I wanted a couple backup tanks...nice! Now, his place has "Lounge" in the title, and it really is. There are couches out front, Pandora music playing on a big screen and the really nice part is, he took me in the "back room"....he had the mack daddy setup station for rebuilding and had 4 customers hanging out rebuilding their coils...using all his tools + grinders and drill presses and those fancy ring lights with the magnifying glass to really see what you are doing. He said, once you buy something from us, you are always welcome to come here and work on your rebuilding rather than setting up in your kitchen. He had a couple Marines from the base there hanging out rebuilding and blowing "FOG", my sister had never seen anything like that, she was "blown" away!! lol This guy is so nice, I cant believe it. He said him and his staff will always help anyone with their rebuilding and any problems you may have. Oh, there were two more couches and another big screen tv in the back too! I feel really bad, never asked his name, but I know he is the manager/owner of the shop. He has a facebook page but no website yet. I just cant believe I found a shop that will let me go in and bring my coils, etc...and use all their "really nice" tools/bench free. His prices on the clones were competitive compared to online, so anything else I need to begin rebuilding, I will throw him the business.

Oh, one other thing I thought really goes to show his customer service side....one of his p/t employees also runs a car shop. He refers people over to the shop for complete "de-odorizing" of the interior to remove the smoke smell from your car. He said if I call before coming next time, he will have someone drive the car over there, let me rebuild for an hour or two, and the person will drive the car back!!!!! I really like that. They went the EXTRA mile to make feel comfortable and welcome and I will definitely go back. Now I'm not so apprehensive about rebuilding cause I know if I cant get it where I want it, they will "gladly" help me to succeed....cant ask for more than that!!!!

That sounds awesome, stylemaster. I'm jealous!!! :D

There's a place here in Lawrenceville, (a NE metro-Atlanta suburb) called 'Steam Cigs' -- they're somehow affiliated with ePipeMods; carry the Pipe Sauce line of ejuice. They have some couches, tables, and a big-screen, but I haven't spent any time there so I have no idea what they do. Once a week, on Thurs evenings, they have a "workshop," teaching/showing different things about e-cigs; they also have a Facebook page but no actual site, just "Steam Cigs" on Facebook. But as I said, haven't spent any time there, just made a one-time purchase; usually I go to a different B&M that's closer to my home, and he has a tasting bar and he's really patient with newbies, I should know! :D Super nice guy -- that place is The Vaping Shack, and they do have a website, but no online sales, just the B&M.

My friend has 4 stores Ecignificance.com The main store use to be a movie theater, over 4000 sq ft store front. In the process now of building a recording studio. In Canton, Oh.
I stopped in there a few months back. It looked like they were just getting things started but it really is a great space with lots of potential

Andria, have you found Vape911 in Marietta??? Its just up the street from where my son lives and I told him to find it cause next time I go down, (in about 3 weeks or so) I want to take him there and check it out. Read something about them here a while back and hopefully it's good so my son will get inspired to "take up the vape"!!!

Marietta is even further from me than Atlanta -- Atlanta is 25 miles away; Marietta is about 40. Don't think I've been over on the west side of town in probably 20 years; I'm in the extreme NE, in Gwinnett County.

Across the border in MN we have a really nice shop that got really screwed! A new B&M set up with a really nice lounge area. After they sunk the money into building, right before they opened the local city council passed a ban on vaping so that whole lounge goes unused. They also have to send customers outside to test flavors, which really sucks during the winter weather. I wish it could say I support them but I rarely go there since we have a really nice B&M on my side of the border with no such silliness as sending people outside to sample.

Place was awesome. Friendliest place I've been to. Awesome setup awesome selection awesome vibes.
Good airflow so Definately kid friendly. Couldn't be happier
