I really do like both, but if I had to pick I would say throat hit. If I'm not getting that then I don't really feel satisfied. My husband says vapor, he could care less about throat hit.
The throat hit has to be there but I definitely need to exhale something. This was the only way I could quit the smokes is to mimic the entire process.
Vapor is cool and good for fooling yourself that you're actually smoking but to me vapor is never going to have the "weight/heft" (?) of actual smoke so for me vapor is more to take care of the psychological aspect of smoking.
I live in Minnesota and never smoke inside so I can see "vapor" most of the year without a cig (e or analog)! Throat hit is WAY more important to me, vapor would be towards the bottom of my piority list.
1. TH
2. Heat/temp
3. Flavor
4. Component reliabilty
5. Vapor
6. Batt life
Oh doh! Forgot to post my own choice. I love vapor & hate throat hit. The worst part is I need relatively high nic. However flavor is far more important to me. Of course harsh TH will make a terrific tasting juice unvapable to me
I chose both are equally important to me but it really depends. If a liquid tastes great and produces clouds of vapor, I can live without the throat hit. On the other hand, if it doesn't produce much vapor, I want it to burn so I at least know I'm getting something.
I haven't voted. Between throat hit and vapor production, I'd choose the later. But, I know from my 510s that vapor production doesn't necessarily translate into flavor, and flavor is my most important criteria ... and, isn't included in the poll.
Honestly, if they had a well-tested vapor-less liquid I'd be the first person to buy a crate of it. You would be able to vape literally anywhere - for me it's the throat hit and flavor that count the most.
Yeah I intentionally left flavor out of the choices since I think generally most people care about flavor relatively strongly. Also, I keep seeing different threads on getting more vapor or TH and well curiosity.
