Well, I've had my AC9 for about a month now. When I first built the coil and wick, vapor was great with a 0.7 ohms coil. I noticed last week that the vapor wasn't the same anymore, so I decided to rebuilt the coil. Same 0.7 ohms and same juice but the vapor is not the same as when I first got the ac9. This is actually the same with my DID. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Do I have to make a fresh new wick also? I always thought the wick was just that, something to wick the juice. I've heard of people using the same wick for months. I cleaned my mods contacts, wish I had one of those volt reading tanks so I can tell if there's any increased voltage drop.

Was wondering what people do to keep their Gen atty's in top form.

yea they do last months but they do get clogged and need to be cleaned once in a while. basically your baking the juice into the mesh after a while.

torch it then rinse it out or soak it and make a new one, doing that a few times will give you a ready made supply of seasoned wicks.

I just discovered, after months of use on AGA-Ts (wife anymore), really poor vapor production. Cleaned the mod, the 510 on the atty, etc. Finally figured out it was the contacts on the atty (mostly at nuts on pos post). It looked clean, and I had been washing it now and again, but there was a thin layer on the threads and nuts that didn't show until I started agressively cleaning them. Soaked and scrubbed w/ toothbrush. PITA
