So i just got my first rba it is an igo w i am using it on a k101 with 2 7 wrap macro coils witch is running at .6 oms i am using a Efest 2000 mah 3.7 high drain bat.
i am not getting the vapor that i thought i would be getting the coils are tight and heating up from the center out can anyoun give me some advice to getting better vapor i am also using cotton wicks as well thanks.

The liquid is just as important. More VG the more clouds you'll get at the expense of flavor.

O.6 ohms is at the maximum amp limit of your Efest batteries (10 amp continuous discharge rating). I suggest getting a higher amp battery if you're going to be building sub-ohm. (A 20 - 30 amp continuous discharge rated battery.)

More Vg in your e-liquid will produce more vapor.

You may not be using enough wick. Are you using silica, cotton, rayon, or hemp? A photo would help.

You may not be getting enough airflow. The IGO-W comes stock with inadequate air holes. They need to be drilled out larger.

I am using cotton for my wick and i have drilled out the air holes as well the battery is my next place to start i know i am just at my limit with these batterys thanks for the input it all helps for a newb.

Wicking your coils properly has a lot to do with vapor production as well. You can wick it in all different styles but I will not go into that right now.

You need to make sure when wicking the cotton does not slide very easily and at the same time it is a struggle to get any through the coil. You want it to give some resistance. Also once you have soaked the cotton with your liquid look through your coils and make sure you don't see straight through them with cotton sitting on the bottom of the coil. You don't want to be able to see right through them.

Also a stronger battery will help. Get a Sony VTC4 or VTC5.

Take a picture of your wicking job. its probably over wicked choking your coils.

Good chance a 7 wrap macro might be too long to heat up quickly enough.

Might not matter much. The mass needed to be heated of a thicker gauge vs. the higher resistance of a thinner gauge might dictate a similar voltage needed for a similar length wire. I haven't tested this theory but it seems almost reasonable.

Anybody know for sure?

.6 ohm with a dual 26 gauge setup is a lot of wire to heat up. Try 6 wraps on a single then 5. fire it with the top off and no wick. Once you get instant heat do another one the same way for the other side. Then once youre wicked and juiced up you can drill your air holes to your liking.

Probably voltage drop from the k101, when i switched over to a nemesis it was shocking just how much harder it hit

If you drilled out the air holes and parked them directly in front of the coils you should be producing even with a 50/50 blend-I would guess it's the wicking as well-when you first installed the coils before wicking did they go orange quickly or take some time? Also check your resistance again now that you are built-the heating and cooling can sometimes loosen a post (which can arch) but if it's the negative terminal it can turn you into a single coil

the gage is 26 i just got a new battery a INR18650-25R 2500mAh 20A and it hits soo much better i am now using a keyfun v2 from ehpro love it
