does anyone here know what the 10% flavor enhancer is for the renu custom blend of 55% pg/35% vg? I thought that's what the flavor boost/double shot was for.....i'm planning to order some juice from them but was wondering before I order.....any info on this would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance :vapor:

I don't know for sure, but I know in the flavoring world there are a lot of products that do specific things. There is something that adds a cold feel, something that masks bitterness, something that suppresses some of the artificial sweetness, etc., so my guess is that it's something that falls into one of those categories.

I saw that Johnsoncreek had 7 ingredients somewhere. One of them was citric acid. I asked FSUSA what they might be using it for and, if he used it. He said it was a flavor enhancer. It might be citric acid? Did you ask Vapor Renu? I just placed an order with them and included one with this mix, just to try it.

I've never asked, but I would guess that it's highly likely to be one of the additives. It adds a little bit of sourness so for some of the things where the flavoring tends to take it to candy land instead of fruit bowl, I can see it being added. I think it would depend which flavor you're getting as to whether they use citric acid or one of the other "enhancers".

For what it's worth, I always get it. Sometimes I get double flavors and the flavor enhancer, sometimes I don't. It makes great flavor and although I've only tried five, I haven't found any of them to be unvapable yet. I can't speak to the throat hit because I always order smooth and am only using a 6 mg nic.

my order got here today! I am liking all the flavors. Re4nu, re4nu twist, swedish fish and, that sticky icky/ blueberry. They are smooth and, plenty of flavor. The re4nu is a little different than strictly ejuice I have been vapin but, it is good.

Yeah, I really like that Re4nu. I don't know if I can say whether it is or isn't a RY4 since I've tried about four other ones and they all tasted different. But the Re4nu is really good. At the moment, it's one of the flavors I always have nearby.
