I'm glad to see Vapor Renu getting some good reviews. I started with them about 4 or 5 months ago and tried a lot of flavors. I vape almost exclusively DIY now, but still order some of my nic liquid & flavorings from Jason. I have nothing but good things to say about his products & service. The price can't be beat.

Since VR doesn't have a page on the suppliers forum, I'm going to ask this question here. Does anyone know if VR has diacetyl in their mixes? The reason I ask is that, as I'm sure we've all learned, diacetyl is a bad substance to inhale. The last two nights I've been vaping Welch's Grape Soda before bed and when I woke up the following mornings, I had a decent amount of painful phlegm to cough up. I realize that it is certainly possible that it is just my lungs clearing up from smoking but I want to make absolutely sure since I have four VR flavors. I haven't noticed the problem with other liquids I've vaped before bed but like I said, it could just be a coincidence.

I'm not all that impressed with the 4 flavors i got. They are just all very low in flavor. This is a shame cause I was hoping to get some sweed fish since you guys all seem to like it, but i'm having second guesses about vr right now.
100 vg, double shot, aggressive th, 11mg:
blueberry pie
chocolate pb cup
orange cream
ry4 [16mg]

The one i got for my friend [whelch's grape soda, 60pg/40vg, 24 mg, agressive th] was pretty tasty.

I've gotten those flavors from other vendors, and none of them were that tasty. I have about 6 ry4's including the renu4, and I don't really care for any of them. Peanut Butter Cup just never seems to be a good vaping flavor to me. Always tastes gross. Orange juices I've also had no luck with, all taste pretty bad, specially the soda ones.

If you want, I can send you a sample of my Apple Cinnamon. It's big on flavor if you like cinnamon. It's very smooth, and not too "in your face" like AC is. VR flavors seem to be a little more suttle on flavor to me, but in a good way.

Just wanted to follow-up on this. I emailed Jason and he responded that NONE of their flavors have diacetyl. He suggested a PG allergy which is possible. My guess/hope is that it is just my lungs clearing out but I'll pick-up some 100% VG liquids down the road to see if that makes a difference.

Thank you for posting this and for following up on this. I was very worried about this when I read that other thread and was curious what VR stance on this was.
I hope you feel better!

Thanks, Harmony! I really think it is just junk building up while I'm sleeping and then wanting to get out when I wake up. I was smoking long enough for there to be plenty of it! Thankfully after the first half hour of being awake, it all clears up.

I have noticed with VR that the juice really does need to age a bit for the flavors to fully bloom. So if you find them too weak in flavor, do wait and try them again in a few weeks. I've got one flavor from them I don't know if I like or not yet. It's english toffee. all I can taste right now is overwhelming butter. I hope it comes along in time. the jury is also still out on the blueberry pie as it's the same age as the toffee.
Creamberry: I asked for this flavor to be created and it was graciously accepted and put on the menu. It is a creamy coconut base flavor with a bit of strawberry. I got this one without the double shot, so it's a lighter flavor. It is very creamy smooth, not too sweet. It's a quiet, enjoyable vape suitable for clearing the palate between stronger flavors, or for when you are not in the mood to be smacked in the mouth by flavor. It's something you can vape all day as well. I hope other people like it too!

Ok, so I revisited my orange cream....nada. I decided to just drip in 3 drops of tv blueberry cheese cake: *something amazing*.The flavors melded and made a super creamy orangy blueberry'y cheesey cakey vapey [ok....too manny "y"s:p]. Afterwards...the orange cream came out on it's own. I think what my flavors might be missing is some sweetener to make them *POP*. It's just a theory...I'm gonna test it out later this week when I have some time.

[edit]: just did it again. something in tv b-berry chz cake is making the vr orange cream happy. Must continue with this for the name of *SCIENCE*!

I had some Orange Cream in a PIF and while it was very true to the expected flavor, it had a kind of "greasy" quality to it. I don't really know how else to describe it. Since it was a PIF, I just threw it out. It was "off" compared to other VR flavors I've purchased directly.

I get a bit of some sort of ashy feeling with it too and some of my other juices. I'm not quite sure what's up with that. All my juices are 100vg, agressive th, 11mg [ry4 is 16mg] and they have the same ashy feeling [maybe it's the same as your greasy feeling?]. My other juice brands don't have any feelings like that except for pg drying my throat out a little, which is normal.

Just got my order of swedish fish yesterday. (it's great) Fastest delivery from anyone yet and I live in a rural area. Just placed another order. Sent for some chocolate, pecan and carmel flavorings to try to mimic those turtle candies.

Making my mouth water!
