I have one and absolutely love it. Cloud chasing will be heavily dependent on the atty you put on it, the coil you use, and the juice you use. Bear in mind that it tops out at 40 watts, so you're not going to be powering a 0.2 ohm coil at 4.2 volts (since that will require 88 watts). I'm currently using a Atlantis 2 tank with a nickel coil at the full 40 watts and I'm not hitting the limit of the Atlantis 2.

The evolv dna40 chip is probably one of the safest in terms of keeping you and the battery safe.
Mine has some screen glitches when it starts getting warm, not all the time though. They recently released a chip with new firmware which supposedly addresses the known issues.
Honestly I wish I would have waited for some of these less expensive temp control options like the ipv4 or the hcigar box with authentic evolv dna40.
It is possible to get good cloud size with 40 watts but you don't want to use very thick wire. 26 is good, 24 is ok too but it's as thick as I would want my wire on a 40watt device.
