Vapor shark rdna 40

Hey everyone. Received my rdna 40 last week. Was wondering what everyone thinks of the battery life on it. Mine seems to drain pretty quickly during the day only using a 1.2 ohm on a Lemo at 15.5 watts. And I'm also using my istick throughout the day as well. Which seems to be lasting longer than the shark.

What battery do they put in their 40? I have a rdna30 n it came with a vtc4, can always upgrade if it isnt the best

It's a LG 2500mah 35A 18650. Which is a great battery.

Besides from what seems to be a short battery life, I'm loving it so far. The temp control works great with the nautilus too. Sadly, that drains the battery even quicker [emoji17]

How often one vapes is obviously a big variable here. I run 2x LG's on my flask, they last me on average 1 1/2 to 2 days, usually at around 35W. Wondering how many ml's of juice do you use a day? At only 15w I would expect it to last at least a full day, based on my vaping habits.

I always said why didn't they go 2 batteries. But yea its simple rDNA have so much feature that the more feature there is the more battery will be drain. This is the only reason why I didn't go with it due to 1 battery. I know they have there quick charge which help also. Wish they made it with 2 18650 lol ..

About 5-6 ml a day. But that also includes what I'm vaping off my istick as well. And that's the thing, I'm not even vaping the shark all day. I'm always going back and forth with the istick or my mech.

I got the same mod with the same battery. I would classify battery life as outstanding...
really good for a single 18650 battery in fact... much better than my provari 2.5 e.g.

However... It does sound like you are getting sub-par battery life, considering your
vaping habits.
I'd buy a new battery/try another one... see if that is helps. You can't have enough
batteries anyway.

With my vaping habits... chainvaping it at 40 Watts, the battery just lasts a couple
of hours as well. But that is to be expected ;-)

Btw... i think that wireless charger for the vapor shark is really wiz.

I was thinking about getting another battery Thursday. We'll see if it makes any difference. If I was using it at high watts and a sub ohm build, I would understand. But I'm not so it's kind of irritating. And thanks for the input guys.

Yeah your battery life seems sub par. Also I suggest getting an external battery charger. The usb on my rdna30 is alrdy broken after half a year of usage

If your only using the use to charge the battery it will never charger all the way, recommend getting a luc4 charger and a few extra battery's and charge them that way. I vape my rdna @ 30 watts and it last me solid 4 hours on Sony vtc5 battery's.

I have a battery charger. But I'm usually charging the mod at work. And since yesterday's charge, the battery life seems better. Like how it should be. And I haven't done anything different. We'll see. Thanks everyone.

Lower your watts and upgrade to Panasonic since they have a 3400mah capacity.

The battery meter on my 40 is sort of "off". Been a lot of talk about this and how the dna chip tries to predict your battery life by scaling your ohms wattage and vaping habits. Wish it would just display the battery's charge instead but still love my device. The VS thread your probably looking for can be found by googling rdna ecf.

Today it seemed to last a lot longer. Using the same Lemo and same wattage. I have noticed the battery kinda "changing" depending on wattage and use. I'm off work on Thursday and plan on messing with different attys and wattage. Very curious now.
