I wrapped my MVP with a carbon fiber wrap from Vapor Skins about 4 months ago and it looks just as good now as it did the day I put it on. I've also wrapped my vamo, bombshell stinger, and provari mini with wraps from jwraps and they have held up as well. My provari does look a little worn, but i do use it a lot more than my other mods and it is wrapped in a clear wrap which is much thiner than all their other wraps. Both venders seem to have very good products. The only real difference between the two is that jwraps has a lot more variety and Vapor Skinz has coupon codes.

JWraps is a different company.

Same technology and materials though.

I've had wraps on both my Vamo and Provari for several months now and have no evident wear on either. My Provari gets the heaviest use and I am constantly sliding it in and out of a Serenity Gear leather holster (which as anyone who owns one can tell you are very, very tight) and it still looks like it did the day I put it on.

You can't go wrong purchasing from either company in my opinion.

I have a Jwrap on my MVP and a Black Mambo from Vapor Skinz on my Vamo. I even have a little Jwrap on my Ego twist. The Jwraps are thinner and smooth, there have been no issues with the skins coming off or curling. The Black Mambo is thicker and the top corner does tend to curl a tiny bit but if I stick it back down right away there is no issue. If I had taken the time to make it flush by cutting the very slight overlap, maybe 1/16" if that, there would be no issue at all. The grippy-ness and texture of it more than makes up for that slight issue IMO.

I make my own cloth wraps all the time. I got a J-Wrap to test my pattern and the adhesive is about equal to the tack in "permanent" (which isn't) vinyl shelf liner. I haven't seen a Vapor Skinz, but I imagine they are about the same. I attach my wraps with double-sided carpet tape. If you see a corner start to curl, you can put a little piece of double-sided tape between the edges or put something decorative over it to hold it down.
