Your lungs are not used to the vapor yet, they are accustomed to smoke inhalation. The way I overcame this was to start with a lower nicotine liquid and start by not inhaling. Progress to not inhaling but blowing the vapor out your nose, then to half inhale/half in your mouth. A day or so of this and my body became accustomed to the vapor instead of smoke. The second morning was tough again but now no problems with it. My variable voltage device was also quite helpful, I turned down the voltage until I was ready to step up.

Few different options come to mind (there may be more). Many people have a sensitivity to PG which is an ingredient in most liquids. The coil or heating element could be bad which can give harsh hits. Nicotine is the biggest factor on how 'harsh' a vape seems. I am bias against starter kits such as haus. I started with something similar as did most and while many people use and like those type devices In my experience they cause more problems. My point in that rant is not to sound like a tool but to say IMO the tank/ thingy holding the liquid may just be of poor quality. Air flow can be another issue. Poor air flow can lead to a harsh vape for sure. So for trouble shooting I'd suggest trying a lower nic first, new coil second. If you lower the PG and increase the VG ( the other main ingredient) it may not wet the wick fast enough and burn the coil. VG is thick, PG is thinner, and factory made coils often times struggle with the high VG.

The nic I am currently using is 10ml. a friend told me to go to either a 0ml or a 3ml. I got the Haus because it was only $19.98. Since I had chest pains with the Electronic Cigs like Njoy in the past. I thought Vaping would be a better solution over the E-cigs. thank you all with your replies. I m gonna go to my smoke shop and try the 0ml. I have been a smoker for 39 yrs and I quit before using the e-cig and I feel it's time to quit again..
