After carefully examining your WONDERFUL website for clues, the voices in my head tell me there are 30 items in the picture

OhhhK so, a camel is traveling 300 miles across the desert but can only travel at night. The camel is transporting 2 packs. One pack weighs 75 pounds, the other pack weighs 52 pounds the first day, 49 pounds the second day, 31 pounds on the third day, and 17 pounds on the forth day. Twice a day a human rides the camel for 1 hour and 15 minutes, therefore increasing the camels load by a total of 35% each day.
So, my answer is ... There is a 13 pound monkey waiting at the load dock, and there are 40 items in the picture.
