Has anyone dealt with this company? I wanted to place a $50 purchase but noticed the shipping price was $14.10. This seems crazy.

If I'm not mistaken vaporcube is (or was) the same people who own hohmtech (who make the Hohm Wrecker and the Hohm Slice).
