Once again I'd like to welcome you back again for another review, today's review was sent to me from vaporesso and since both items are so similar I decided to review them together. I think the Go 40 and Go 80 are the simplest devices on the market today in their size class and category platform of pod mods. Both have internal battery's and work off the proven performance of all the GTX coils.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS
The device, pod, coil and braided charge cord lay in individual portions of a plastic housing with your user manual, warranty card and QR code verification card underneath. Both devices have a matt color that is grippy helping to avoid slipping out of the hand.
I plugged the devices in for a top off of the battery and noticed the bezel surrounding the fire button on both lit up red and stayed that way until fully charged, fully charged they turn to a green color. The lighted bezel around the fire button is very bright and sharp, placement of the fire button feels very ergonomic as well, not being to high or to low. There are only 2 spots on both devices that have branding keeping both looking clean and sharp. The Vaporesso name is under the fire button towards the bottom . I am really glad that both devices have a fire button with texture because picking up a tube mod can be difficult finding the button if your not looking for it, both of these fire buttons are easily found with your thumb of finger because of the texture.
Both devices have 2A charging and use type-c which all company's should be using by now, it speeds up charging time and in my opinion is a much better option. Both devices place the charge ports fairly high up on the other side of the fire button, down at the bottom is the only other branding with the Vaporesso logo.
As most devices do both the 40 and 80 pod connects using 4 very strong magnets to a outer metal rim, connection to the coil are made with the spring loaded gold contact pins in the center of both devices.
Your coil should be first primed with a few drops of juice on the coils cotton and placed into the pod with the flat sides facing towards the indents of the pod, follow the curves of the pods inner diameter. After filling the tank let it sit for 10 minutes before vaping.
Both the pod 22 and pod 26 are top fill pods and open with a 1/8th of a turn of the top cap that reveals the fill port that uses a membrane that acts like a one way valve sealing itself back up after filling the pod. When you are reaching full on filling go slow, the air hole that allows air to escape when filling will burp out juice if to much pressure is applied at the end of filling the pod. One thing I forgot to mention earlier is the drip tips on both pods are fixed.
Vaporesso includes the GTX 0.6Ω mesh coil rated at 20-30w with the Go 40 and the GTX 0.2Ω mesh coil rated at 45-60w with the Go 80, the 0.6 pictured left has a much narrower center diameter that reduces the airflow through the coil. On the right is the 0.2 that has a much larger diameter allowing much more air to flow through the coil.
Both the 40 and 80 have dual airflow slots that are 180° apart from one another. The pods themselves have a sort of center divider in them, to adjust airflow simply rotate the pods themselves to your desired airflow setting.
Both devices have their battery marking clearly displayed on the bottom base .
FINAL IMPRESSION OF BOTH DEVICES
Using both devices has been enjoyable and with no wattage to adjust to me seems like a fantastic starter kit for new vapers. The performance proven GTX coil lineup is compatible with the 40 and 80 even the GTX RBA coil can be used in them.
I had a issue when I first tried the 40 because it was telling me with the number of red pulses of light it didn't read a atomizer, the reason being I did not have the coil seated correctly, after seating it correctly it functioned flawlessly as did the 80.
Having a device that can read any GTX coil and adjust wattage correctly for that coil is a very big plus, it doesn't get any simpler than that.
Airflow on both worked fine with the 80 being able to DL vape and still dial it down to a nice RDL vape with a smooth somewhat quite airflow. The 0.2 coil is one that I know well and really like it's performance. Vapor was full and flavor was top notch .
The 40 also worked fine and the 0.6 coil though much reduced in vapor gave a nice flavorful vape. I think that if I could have put one of my own drip tips on the 40 it could have given a good MTL vape but in my opinion to much airflow coming out cancelled that out for me. The airflow coming in was able to be dialed down enough, but to big of a opening in the mouthpiece made the vape to wide and open for a true MTL vape.
I really think these kits should have 2 coils just in case one fails or like what happened to me because of user error ( even reviewers can make mistakes ) like what happened to me, if this had happened to a new vaper and he didn't check the coil or didn't know how it probably would have drove him/her back to tobacco.
Both of these are great little kits in my book and I consider them winners.
I would like to thank Vaporesso for sending the GTX Go 40 and Go 80 for the purpose of this review.
THANK YOU
