Vaporesso Polar not starting

Hi All,

I'm a occasionnal user of a vaporesso Polar. I tried to fire it up this morning, and no luck, not working anymore. I did try to change the batteries tho, putting in some from a working mod, but still doesn't want to start. The only thing I can get is, when I press the fire button, then plug the cable to my computer and release the fire button, screen displays the below:

Any idea on what I can do ?

Hello @HQVap, I'd say try flashing the firmware update just to see if it has any life.

But may we ask if you use the mod to charge the batteries?

I wanted to flash it, but it's not even recognized on my windows 10
I do indeed charge them in the mod, not outside on a separate charger.

You did connect it without any batteries in to update it I presume @HQVap?

If so it sounds as though the board has failed somewhat, which you could do without.

What do you mean by 'You could do without" ?
I tried with the batteries in and the batteries out, now ay it's recognized by the computer, meaning no way to update it :-(

Well, it's not on you mate I've got an old one that can do the trick while shops are closed yes
