Here's a review of a clone up against a real Joye 510. Rob at Vapor Kings
is selling the clone parts right now for a reduced price. He's down to only white and is wanting to know if there is enough demand to warrant him ordering some more and keeping them in stock. Watch the review, then let Rob know or leave something in the comments to let him know if you guys are interested or not. I've been really happy with mine, no horror stories to report!

I could deal with a minor reduction in vapor or throat hit if the dern things would be consistent from atty to atty. The quality control on the Joye units is poor.... it's not uncommon for me to have a 25%+ fallout rate.. right out of the box (not completely dead units mind you... just vapor dwarfs).

If the SLB clones are consistent.... then I'm going with them.

I asked Rob how his clones were as far as being bad and he replied as follows:

"I've never had DOA on Joye OR the clone atomizers... 2 bad batteries since I've sold Joye and zero returns on the clone batteries so far.

It possible some have died beyond the 14 days and they haven't said anything...but no DOAs."

He also just said I twisted his arm and he's ordering 100 more, so feel free to try away and save a couple bucks!:)

I desperately wanted to try one of these, so I asked Rob to send me a couple of the white ones that he had left. They showed up today (FAST shipping) and I am currently vaping some ECOpure out of one.

I've crawled all over these things.. tested them, measured them.. analyzed them... and I'm pretty sure I know what they are and how they will work for people.

I've sent Rob an EMAIL.. and all wait for a reply from him before I give all of the details. But I will say this.... for many people these SLB 510 atty "clones" are going to be an excellent choice.

OK, I now know for an absolute fact that I have a clone. I originally got a real joye510, then I was having problems within 2 weeks of the batteries dying out and the atomizer not producing vapor so the guy I got it from switched me out with a "different" 510 and the atty is just as you speak of. almost pointed bridge with a silver ring around the bottom. Also, the manual batteries have a cutoff. I've had it for about a month now. The atty is terrible for me. It produces vapor, and somewhat of a throat hit, but the original 510 attys are much better IMO. I thought my juice was bad, then tried the same juice in both atomizers and it's a big difference. I now ask every single supplier now whether they have the real 510 atty's or not before purchasing.

A rather odd, contradictory post. You first say "the atomizer not producing vapor" as one of the reasons for changing, and with the clone "It produces vapor, and somewhat of a throat hit". Now you say you are going back to the originals that you originally complained about?

Lol, yes I had to read through my post a couple of times before I actually posted it to make sure it came out right, but evidently it didn't. Here's what happened.

I bought a real joye510 kit. The atomizer worked just as described until it died, as all of them tend to at one point or another. My batteries also weren't holding a charge.

My supplier switched out my entire kit, and I knew it looked different, especially the atomizer which had a somewhat pointed tip, and it looked like a silver washer around the bottom. This one does produce vapor, just not as much as the original one did (the real joye510)when it was working. (I hope this makes sense)

So in my post, I explained my opinion of how I prefer the original atomizers (where you can see the wick underneath the bridge) over the clones.

And by going back to the originals, I mean I'm making sure whenever I buy new atomizers, they are the ones I prefer, as I spoke of.

I really hope this clears everything up as I said I thought it sounded funny when I originally made my post.
