I just received my Vaporlux Rev.2 variable volt mod in the mail today. WOW, so far this thing is great. Fits great in your hand, solidly built, switch voltage with a click of a switch. I'm using it with CE2 clearomizers 2.6-2.8 ohms, the amount of vapor, throat hit, and flavor is amazing. I usually vape and Ego-t with low res 1.7 ohm. There is absolutely no comparison. Can't wait to try it with my Bulli A2-T, still waiting on the mail. Anyone thinking of getting one of these...do..you won't be dissappointed. Thanks Ace 0f Vapes!!!:vapor:

Are there any clearomizers that work will with this? Would ce2's at 3.0-3.2 be a good choice if I like medium heat?

Also can I put any kind of tank on it?

I want to try higher power vaping, heat is nice... burntness is not.

Right now I like ce2s at 2.8-3.0 on a 510, or even ce3's at 2.4-2.7... could go a bit hotter.

I really enjoyed this mod. But that protruding 510 connector was a deal breaker for me. I guess I'm just really picky, but I love tanks and I don't like them sitting up above the mod like they do on the VLR2. But it did perform flawlessly and it looks great. If I dripped enough to call myself a dripper, it would have been one awesome dripping machine for me with a drip shiled hiding that connector.

Yeah, a tank looks odd on it. I reserved this mod as my drip only, taste tester. Works great with a carto tank though.

My VaporLuxe has an 808 connector...which normally protrudes, but only about 1/8".

A Smoke Tech tank with an 808 XL cartomizer installed sits on it nicely. With a properly located hole in the carto, the tank will sit atop the 3 bumps on the top of the VaporLuxe.

I've found the horizontal coil Kranger XLs won't stand up to 5 Volts minimum of the VaporLuxe and am considering getting some 808 XLs from Ikenvape. ...any thoughts?

Yep! Looks awesome with the drip shield!

Sorry, I don't know enough about 808 cartos to be of any help there. I do know that the Boge 808 cartos are vertical coil and come in 3ohm, which would have to go in a short tank and they should be great at 5v as the 510 3ohm Boges are.
