The better reviews are done by model, not by brand names. If you know the model of your PV it should be easy to find in the e-cig reviews.
From what I saw (didn't read) on their site it looks like a disposable e-cig, IMO.

Doesn't mean you can't recharge the things... maybe just not intended to last as long as far as # of charges the batts can take YMMV. If it is a disposable it's pricey.

I bought the VMX starter kit, came with 2 batteries, 2 atty, 5 filled carts with 0-40mg range of nic. They also threw in a pack of 5 marl high cartomizers. I'm not sure how useful all these comparisons really are, since I enjoy the cartomizer much more than the addy's that came with it. I would think the juice is pretty important; vapormaxx uses 100% VG juice which might explain why they get better vapor... I have no idea what's in the cartos.. I e-mailed vapormaxx, but my e-mail got returned 'mailbox over quota'... I really want more of these cartos!

I really thought these were just 510 compatibles, based on the pictures, but just received some 510 cartos and they don't fit (the 510 threads are a tiny bit smaller diameter with finer pitch). So I don't know what these are compatible with!

These are my first ecigs, so I can't really compare.. but I'm having fun mixing up juices and refilling my cartos... I kinda got a tobacco, anise, cherry, cinnamon flavor going around now... time to wash them maybe...

Trying to figure out which cartos to buy for my Vapormaxx VMX... joy 510 don't fit... the image on &*^^*&^** site looks more like my threads...

eeMGee.. I attached a photo comparing the two.. the 510 is black and threads so fine they don't really show up.. the other fits the vapormaxx VMX

... OK... scratch that... I'm gonna get feed up with the number of posts I have to make before I can do anything useful real fast! Need 15 posts to attach an image....

Or .. link replaced by &*^%*&^( above... is instead brand e-cig *dot* short form of organization ...

So its been a couple of weeks with my vapormaxx VMX and I'm enjoying it more and more. The key of course to their good vapor production is 100% VG base in their juices.

I've since started to become a mad scientist mixing up my own juices. I will add my a few of my fav recipes to the form shortly, they will be Strawberry-Cherry-Licorice (might be suitable to call its 'Nibs' or 'Twissler'), and Banana-Nut Bread. I like a cherry-cinnamon mix very much too.. but gotta experiment a bit on the ratios to get things perfect... Anyhow I digress.. back to Vapormaxx.

So I was real happy to find that they have added cartomizers to their offering: They offer packs of 5 empties for $8 (+$3.75 shipping but I bought 5 packs at once for same shipping price). They sell also tobacco or menthol pre-filled for $11 a pack. Their picture shows only 2 cartos packaged in a clear plastic tube and they don't specify the number of cartos in the price... I was happy to get the 5 packs (which is typical of how cartos are sold). Hope they don't switch to selling 2-packs for the same price!

More importantly! This is an except from the site:

'VMX Cartomizers are compatible with all 4801 type batteries, such as the Smoke 51 Trio, Smoking Everywhere Gold and Smoke Stik brand batteries. Turn your old three piece 4801 e-cigarette into a Vapormaxx Super Vaporizer with our all new VMX Cartomizers!!!'

So finally a few models that define what these threads are compatible with! I do have to admit, it is hard to find supplies for those models. I think their price is fair for the carto 5-packs, but I haven't found spare batteries sold separate on their site. My kit came with 2, but I'm still managing to suck them both dry sometimes... Plus I dropped one, and lost the little plastic lense that covers the LED. Now it looks like a beat-up cyborg cigarette :)

Another comment on their batteries; I've heard reviews where people complained that their auto-batteries would activate from loud music, or wind / vibration. These only go on if you suck on them... Don't know if that is any clue to who the chinese manufacturer is?

I also bought (before I discovered these were not Joy 510 compatible) a 510 style Personal Charging Case (PCC), fortunately, it is not a threaded connection so works fine with my vapormaxx batteries.

Gotta go get my fresh battery... this one is blinking 3 times to tell me its empty...

Good puffs!

Thanks for the link oettinger. Their price is fair at $15 with free shipping, found another place aquavaporcig.com at $12.95 or $11.66 if you buy 5 or more. They say free shipping on orders over $75, but when I went into checkout, for 5 @ $58.30, shipping was still showing $0... I didn't continue all the way to order though.

But great news! Maybe Vapormaxx monitors this forum :p but they now have replacement batteries on their site at $9.99 (however they do charge shipping $3.75 my last shipment of cartos). But if I order 2 it still works out cheaper, and I will know what I'm getting. (Although I don't find the battery last very long so, maybe others are better? I am sucking on it pretty constantly though..)
