Sir Lawrence has now ANNOUNCED the NEW VARIABLE VOLT version of the new and improved Saber Touch. I was sworn (under fear of death) to keep mum about it! But, now that Sir Lawrence has announced it - AND I finally got it in my hands to have actual informed First impressions - I have posted a First Impressions review in the review section here in ECF. I will copy my post below with a link to the thread (in case you want to follow for follow-up posts and anything any others may post about it):

Very NICE RED, I am Beta testing also, and will be doing a video update, and review on my Prototype shortly, so far it is working just fine. By the way I use , a reg 510 at 4.3 volts, a 901 at 4.7 volts, and a 801 at 5 volts. See you on ElixirTV later.View attachment 19298

I just had a passing thought & i know it's no good to me being in Australia and a bit far to post etc: but seeing there are a load of happy USA ST users out there have you considered at all offering a 'Send in pay the $$ upgrade package for 3.7v/6v ST to VV, is it even possible?

Well that's my shared thought for the day :)

That would be a great idea if I could sell "Used Saber Touch Mods"... but of course I can't. Unlike the classifieds, no one would even consider buying a used mod from a supplier. But it's a good thought. Thanks

No sorry maybe I wasn't clear enough, I was talking about people getting their own device upgraded and getting it posted back to them.

recieved some 801 atomizers and most say they work great!
work good both with cartridge or drip tip.

still haven't found any 510 attie working good. .:/

So with a lot of testing ive found that the saber for me is best with 510/808 cartomizers, 901 and 801 atomizers.
does someone share that opinion?

I am a big fan of the 801 series attys. These include (all look the same but with different air-intake holes and possibly different coils) the 801, BE112 and Joye 302. I like the 302 the best at 5-ish volts (best for me at 5.2 volts). I am not a carto fan but getting ready to try the new e2 versions.

I also do not care for the the drip tips on 801 series attys. For me, they really change the airflow and I like the stream of vapor concentrated on my tongue by the small hole in the hard/shiny plastic whistle-tip. I have found these drip bottles with blunt needle fit right thru the whistle tip hole so I can directly drip right thru the original tips: 1/2 OZ BOTTLE W/NEEDLE TIP They are certainly cheap enough here but I have no idea wht the ship charge might be to Norway. Perhaps you can find the product there cheaper to try (if you are interested).

Many people LOVE the 510 attys.. I still use them on some devices but feel spoiled by the extra flavor I get from the 302. However, I do not like the 801 series at lower voltages. I have tried an LR 801 and was not thrilled. I have one left and will try it again some day. 901s seem to have more flavor (for me) than 510s but still way less than the 302 at 5.2 volts.

This is all very subjective and a matter of personal preference. It really does not matter what anyone else thinks. It all comes down to what YOU like best. I think that when it comes to attys, mods, juices and the various combinations of these three - each person really has to experiment until they find the combos that work best for their preferences and tastes.

Hope something in this post is somehow helpful.
Happy :vapor:

Thank you=) very helpful=)

I agree with you on the drip tip. it feel much better with the standard cartridgetip, mine is not plastic but some kind a rubber, very nice. i will definitely try it with a bottle w/needle:D thanks for the tip=)
the 801 i'm using has a low more flat coil. think i have to try the 302 also. . a little a by little=)

5,2v? then you must have variable voltage mod? hmm. .

Normally i love 510 atties, (on 3,7v) but having trouble getting the power out of it on the saber:/
feels like only about 3v. . tried different brands also. . bit since ive found many excellent alternativs now, i really dont care much for it. .

I just love the saber touch:)

Update on the Saber Touch VariVolt....

We are still in the hands of the people prototyping the new Saber Touch VariVolt. We are still basing Everything on their opinions, since they are very experienced Vapers! So far, from what I hear, things are working great! I'm going to send them another model of the VV to see if that even Beats their expectations of the first they were testing. I've been working night and day trying to find the best mod for everyone. You all know me! I only want the best for the people that have the Saber Touch in their hands!

So far, everything is going well... just want to make it better than anything on the market! Safer, better, easier to "Touch", anything to stay off of analogs!

If you all have any questions at all about the Saber Touch VariVolt, Please email me at:

Let me know your thoughts.

What if they aren't fit for public consumption? :)

Just hope these days off have been restful for you since I remember you posting about a blood sugar problem. And don't let the frustration of not being able to spray the powder get you too down.
