For all of you Saber Touch 5v users... here's where I get my batteries from...

Ultrafire 3.6V 880mah Protected Li-Ion Rechargeable Battery RCR123A CR123A 16340 CR16340


I've never had any problems with the batteries I've gotten from them.

Just to back up what I'm thinking that means ^ , that I can use my RCR123a batteries in the 5V?
I watched youtube, downloaded instructions but it really only mentions the RCR for the 3.7/6

Sorry for the dumb question, just found the Saber and I and the husband are in love with it, as soon as means are available we are ordering, I already can't wait.

The 3.7v/6v uses either (2) RCR123a 3v 880mAh or higher batteries, or (1) 18650 3.7v 2800mAh or higher battery.

The 5v Regulated uses (2) 16340 3.6v or 3.7v 880mAh or higher batteries. I prefer 3.7v 1000mAh batts. Make sure the 16340 batts have the short top on it, not the larger.

And always... always use protected batteries.

Interested in getting the 5v with regulator. I presently have a ton of the AW 3.7v 750 mah batts. Will they work? I read something about a short top? Interested in ordering if these will work. Thanks!

Yes, with the short top, they should work just fine!

AW batts are about the best you can find!
