I think I told this story a long time ago on ECF....
I was in college in North Carolina, and was jammin with a friend of mine. We both lived on campus. He went to his room because he had a music teacher coming.
He called me up an asked me to come to his room.... I rapped on the door, and Eddie VanHalen opened up the door! I had no idea he was teaching my friend!
Well... I also took a lesson, and kinda jammed with them both. It was a memory that I will never forget. Though, I'm one of those few that never forgets a single thing.... keeps me up all night.

Wow, what a crazy story! I bet there aren't too many people who can claim a music lesson from VanHalen! Very cool.
Like I said.... I have been cursed with this memory thing... never forgetting anything. I can still see his fingers on his guitar. Not that I will ever be able to duplicate his hand theory!

Tez, you must be around my age.... you would appreciate those songs. If not, then you have a great taste in music... that means something!

 Actually I'm 33, but I generally gravitated toward late 60s - early 70s music. There really must have been something in the air back then. Really, I'm more like you though -- I'm into a little bit of everything, whether it's rock, folk, heavy metal, alternative, etc. (even some country), just as long as it was made with skill and passion.

See, that's the prob now.... No one takes music for MUSIC! I will listen to anything. But there are some things that just hit a nerve... a good one. Some make me laugh, some make me cry like a baby. Take Puccini's Tosca.... I performed in that opera a long time ago, but it still makes me cry.
I also performed with the band named Heart. I did the Keys for them during one concert in LA. I was there for a piano recital.

Guys..Tez's mod is coming back to me. The plating on his caps is peeling off. I don't know why, but it is.
I tried to hire some good guys to do the last preps for the Sabers.... not woriking out. Damn.
I will have to do everything, from start to finish. No help involved.
Please understand, if you have not gotten an email for shipping, this is why.
Thank you all for your understanding

I'm sure Tez will get it back soon. I think most people understand, especially with custom, made to order devices. I totally understand the hasrd to find good help. I think what happens, is when someone takes great pride in creating something decides to hire "workers", well they see it as just a job, and don't share the same pride as the creator does:2c:
