Hi Tat :) I clean the contacts with the same stuff I clean the threads with. Do you put any kind of vaseline or other goop on the threads? Just curious?

I don't put anything on the threads. just keep em clean:) Now this might sound strange, but another thing that could affect the performance is the weather:blink: I see your in Colo, I'm in NM(Hi Neighbor:laugh:), so our weather is kinda the same. Now that it's getting colder, I sometimes have to "warm up" to get my electricity to work with the sensor. Some people might disagree, but I have noticed this with every one I own(owned).

You know, I was noticing the same thing these days too, especially if I put it down for a while. It gets cold and with my cold hands, it takes bit for the sensor to warm up with my cold fingers. I too was thinking it was my batteries or something going wrong with the kick, or even maybe with my Saber. Thanks Tat, you are a Saber master.

I've been noticing something similar with my Kicked device lately. Although it's not that cold compared to Colorado (grew up there...brrrrr!) or New Mexico, houses and apartments are poorly insulated and it gets chilly indoors when the temperature starts to drop. I've been getting the Kick's low battery signal a lot sooner than normal, and I think it's because it's chilly in my apartment, and all of my mods are cold to the touch.

Thanks for the suggestions folks, but I've worked on it today off and on. It's definitely not the batteries. And, I've ruled out everything I can think of....the weather wouldn't keep it from working COMPLETELY time after time. I'm very frustrated at this point. I love my Saber....Argh! Any other ideas?
