Had it for about 3 days before the problem surfaced. It must be only certain types of 510 that don't work well with certain types of 510 connectors. Remember, the connectors were made to be installed on the small e-cigs, not mods. And certain connectors were made specifically for the brand they manufacture.
Sir Larry has been having great success with the 510 atties from madvapes without any issues I've described.
OK everyone... special note about atty's....
For some reason, certain types of atty's don't work with certain types of connectors. I have been using 510 atty's from MadVapes for my personal use, and they vape like a racehorse.
Remember... Connectors used on mods were developed to be used on a particular type of e-cig. So, this problem will occur with, not only the ST, but many other types of well made mods. Please don't get discouraged. It's not your mod... whether it be an ST or some other type. Just try a different make of atomizer. That's all. Nothing is going to blow up!
This explains a lot of weird things that have been occurring with not only the ST, but other mods as well. So hang in there. I'll post my findings when I hear back from a few distributors of connectors, adapters, and atty's.

No, we all love ya! Like I said, try some different types of 510's. I'll let you all know what I find out. I've contacted the china manufacturers, not the suppliers I get them from in the USA. I went right to the source. As you all know, they won't get the emails until tonight, so now is just the waiting game from around the world.

Boom - Thanks for the update. Thought it was just me. Specifically bought 510 atty's for the ST. Popped in a 510 and after about 5 puffs no more vapor. Thinking it might be defective, popped in another 510 and same thing happened. Figured it had to be the atty's, so I ordered 510 to 901 adapters for the ST. (since I have 901's already) Ordered 901 to 510 adapters for my other mod so I can use my 510's.
Please don't take this as a slam against the ST or SirL. I fully understand that with all the different manufacturers of parts that this is bound to happen on any mod. The ST is still a quality mod.

I haven't had any problems yet with my atties. I've used both Boge and Joye.
have'nt had a problem with a 510 to 808 adapter just the batterys they don't last long at this rate i'm going to have to buy another charger and more batterys 4 just aint enough....................

It just happens to be just some 510 atty's that aren't working well. Hundreds of you are having no problems at all with a 510. But the way his post reads, it sounds like you can't use a 510 with the Saber Touch.

Thought I did but FYI...TWs LRs ROCK with the Saber. Many say LRs have a shorter life span so far not for me but even if they do they work tons better that a regular 510 atty and thats saying something!

Hey, he might have made a wording mistake in his haste on his post by saying that 510's can't be used on The Saber Touch. Oh yeah I understood and I just wanted everyone to know LRs is a great way to go!
SirL did post that the 510 attys from Madvapes work well. My 510s were a bargain basement blue light special. This whole 510, 901 atty stuff is not a problem for me. I prefer 901s. Hence, the adapter for my ST. My other mod that is made to take a 901 doesn't like the 901. So, it's going to get my 510s.

I use cartomizers on my Saber Touch. Works perfectly.
I usually use the 510 cartomizers but also have an adapter for 510 to kr808 that can use the kr808 cartomizers.
havent have one problem yet.
