Is it ok to install the kick 1 and leave it in the saber. Reason I ask. I left one in another mech. Spring got compressed and didn't make good contact.
I'm a huge fan of the original kick. The version 2. Not so much. YMMV

Are you speaking of the spring on the Kick or the mod's spring?

I see no reason to fish the Kick out of a Saber unless you need to get to the pot for making adjustments, or over time you just want to check the Kick's contacts (both ends and the side spring) for oxidation and reset it to make sure it's good and clean.

Is that what you mean by 'leaving the Kick installed'?

If the Kick's negative contact (the little spring on the side) compresses too much, just 'gently' pull it out a bit with tweezers.

Hi guys,
Thank you all so much for your patience... You all know that I lost a couple of weeks due to a bad kicker.
I got out yesterday, and I am working very hard to get caught up.
I should have a lot of orders out this coming week.
Please, unlike what others have written on other threads, you all have known me for over 5 years now. I have never, ever not gotten an order out to a customer. Yes, sometimes later than expected. But everyone has always gotten their orders.
I have been making Sabers for over 5 years now... over 10,000 of them. And you all know how much I love and appreciate your business and kind thoughts.
So, like I said, I will have lots of orders out this week... even if it kills me. Because some of the Vapors out there on other threads, I think, ARE trying to kill me.
Thanks for your understanding.

Thank you!

Oh, and guys... you can still use the Gift Certificates from the Mod Envy show. Just email me.

And I'm redesigning A Saber for where I use to have the Mod Envy Saber.
If you have any suggestions on what you would like that Discounted Saber to look like, and maybe a name for it, let me know. That will be taking it's place and will be a permanent edition at the same discounted rate of $95!

I loved the looks you managed to achieve with just a bit of missing coating. It just went so against years of upbringing to pay extra, so the 4 Saber Touch's I own are all plain. One of them is the stardust, it's a great finish. And I rather like the look of the mod envy edition. So I'm sure whatever design you come up with will be great.

Sir Lawrance. No one had the right to bash you.
While I agree we had a disagreement, you came through like a wonderful wizard.

If people don't own a saber touch. All I can say is they are missing a fantastic fabulous mod.

I'm still in awe at no button or anything to break.

Let's see if ANYONE else can do that.

Thank you Sir Lawrance.
Please stay healthy. Take care and God bless you my friend. :)

Agreed! There is nothing as elegant and solid as a Saber. Those who do not have one simply do not know. I have a number of them and they all work flawlessly and beautifully.

As for the new mod envy style, the black stardust is always a good choice. My wife and I are still partial to the glow-in-the-dark "ghost" one, though. Just for the coolness factor alone. And you can't lose it at night.

Keep up the good work and stay healthy!

Tell me what you think!

Saber Touch
5th Year Anniversary Edition!

5year1_zps51a61a49.jpg

Only $95!
Save $32.00!

It's a 3.7v/6v Version...
It's Satin Black... The Original Powder Coating I used.
It has Turned Brass Caps,
Original Button,
3 Center Turned Lines.

You can change the button style, cap style and color.
But with the new circuits, the new button is really only for appearance,
And I've always loved the tiny sensor.

If you all like this, I'll get it on my site,
And Maybe, have a Giveaway Contest this week!

That looks pretty sharp but I must admit, I hate the brass caps, turned or original. I find I'm wanting to polish them weekly. Guess my hands' pH is not copper friendly. It makes me really enjoy my stardust because it has the finished caps (nickel plated I think?). Otherwise I think you've got a nice design there an something anyone would be happy to own and show off.

I understand... but I like the patina the brass gets from use.
I also put on my site that they can change the cap style and color. And gave them a link to the shopping page if they want to add that.

If you're not a fan of brass patina but do like it in the 'polished form', check this stuff out: http://www.everbritecoatings.com/tarnish_prevention.html
