Ok, got mine and first thought it was too big. Tried it and loved it but one question...this thing gets hot. Tried a cartomizer and burned my lip then tried a regular atty and it burned my finger. Am I doing something wrong or is it supposed to get this hot? Love the vapor production. I am such a noob with this mod and since I don't have instructions (got it from classifieds to give it a good home:). I put the 2 batteries in, is that the 6v, I assume? Maybe that is just too much for me to handle.

Let the advice begin, all you pros of the ST.
You can get the instruction from our site. I don't know what voltage you have... what does the sticker say inside? Also, don't put your finger on the atty while you vape. The atty is suppose to get hot. I've never heard of anyone burning their lip before. I hope you do know that you only touch the sensor when you take a vape... then release it.

Its easy to heat up an atomizer at only 5V. I know cause I've shifted to a delrin drip tip from metal cause it got way too hot. Lots more than uncomfortable. I easily got my 6V Indulgence way too hot but I can do it with my Saber Touch at 5V when I vape breath after breath for 5 minutes. Guess that explains why I can go through 5ml or more of juice some days.

I have the 3.7v/6v one and yes, I know I don't keep my finger on the sensor. I was afraid the atty would blow when it gets that hot. Course, I was vaping often on it, I am sure that has a lot to do with it. Love the sensor, just need to get used to it. I notice the liquid tastes way different as well. Perhaps because the atty was so hot, the juice seemed kind of flat tasting and that is unusual for tastyfinger.

Thanks for the help. gonna show it to a co-worker who complains of not enough TH with everything. That won't be her problem with this ST.

One important thing to remember... to save your atties, is to let it cool down! Your atties were meant to break down at 230 F. "Train Vaping" can bring your atties to well over 260 F, also causing your juice not to taste very good.

Also, you will need to drip abt 4 drops every 5-6 puffs....HV takes a small learning curve but when you get it down, you will fall in love. When I first tried 5-6v, I went back to 3,7v rt away....but knew I had to be doing SOMETHING wrong bc of all the rave. I was rt! I still vape at 3.7v sometimes, but it has to be a solid device bc I DO prefer MOST at 5-6v now ;)

801 attys are the same way for me...took me MONTHS to figure them out....I STILL havent figured out how carts actually wick them, but with a drip tip they vape fantastic and I learned to drip JUST the rt amount so I dont flood them every time :)
