Well, I got some new equipment in to do the "Threadless" design... and of course I broke one of the gears on it! I want to be able to do this in my shop instead of sending it out. I got a quote of $18.00 each just to put threads on one of the bodies... and that's ordering 200 at a time. I'm hoping to keep our cost down by doing it in house. So, I now have to wait on the parts to come in. I was so upset when it shut down on me.
I'm hoping to have the new design out by the end of next week! And I really don't want to take pre-orders. I'm still going to design it around the 16340 3.7v battery, but it should be able to take the 16350... I just don't want any play in it.

It turn blue at night. I haven't really held it under light to charge it though. Gonna see if I can find a black light to show everyone when I do a review on it.

I do like that color a lot. Too bad pics don't show off the true color in sunlight! I like the "threadless" version since it does look sleeker... But I think showing the threads gives that rustic type of Saber Handle type of look. I'm sure some will prefer one and some will prefer the other. Hopefully, when my gears get here, I will be offering both. I think even the stock colors will be custom as well since I want to offer the thread choice, and Brass or Nickle Plated caps as options. And soon, I will offer a different type of Sensor style as an option. So really, there are endless ways you can get your Saber Touch just the way you want it!

Please... everyone take pics of your custom Saber Touch and name it! I want to start putting together the Custom Saber Touch Album on my site. Just email me your favorite pics to use and the name you want to call it. This should be fun!

S.L. - are the Nickel endcaps exactly the same - just nickel as opposed to brass or do they have a different look and/or shape? Please post some photos of them when you can. Thanks.

For now, they are going to be the same, but nickle plated. I know you want the smooth type, and I'm going to be working on that as well. I won't have examples back of the silver caps until mid week. At least this will give another option for now.

With the storms and odd weather my fibromyalgia is really acting up today. Its actually uncomfortable to hold my ST for any length of time. At least that isn't combined with a need to press a button on top of it. Can't wait for the mini.

I know its summer in the US and winter here in Australia but is it just me or has anyone noticed when they wake up on a cold morning and reach for the trusty 'it's cold from the night air' Saber from the bedside table I always need to lick my finger to get the Saber up and pumping for the first few pulls, but when it warms up in my hand) it is then fine?
It's not a complaint at all it's just an observation as I love my ST

Maybe I am drying out in my sleep??? lol

Yes, if your skin is really dry on your "Touch Finger", you may need to moisten it a little. Or just use a little hand sanitizer or lotion... that will make it work great when you have dry skin!
