Loving my Saber VV as i bought it at a vape meet, this being my first mod ever it is great! However i am just a tad bit confused on a few matters, and i am hoping to get unconfussed (sorry i do not know much about mod's right now);

inside the battery cap it says uses 2 16340 3.7V. It came with four trust fire 3.7 Li-ion 880mah batteries, but i was thinking seeing as i have to pick up a trust fire multi-charger (which says it can charge the batteries i have) can i use the trust fire 16340 3.6v Li-ion 880mah batteries?

Checking one Canadian site and it says i need the 3.7V 16340 batteries to run dual cart's, and the beginning of the of this thread it is stated you can use 3.6V 16340's :confused:

I read a few sites that says not to charge the version i have in serial? If so;

View attachment 100248 is this what they call serial? and would be a bad idea? do i need a charger that would only do one battery at a time to charge?

Other then that, like i said i have been playing with it, and enjoying it (before the batteries die then i need to wait to get the multi charger) and i am loving it! I have had a vision extreme on it and it ran like a champ, so did my stardust's.....this is by far way better then the ego's as it does not feel like you are going to break it or that you have to wonder if you are pressing to hard on the firing button :D

I would use 16340 3.7v batts simply because you have more power to work with, and they will last longer.
On that charger, you can charge up to only 2 batteries at a time... one in each slot. What they meant by charging in serial is to put more than 1 battery in each slot... a No No!
But yes, use 3.7v batteries... and if you like dual coils, use high drain batteries like AW IMR 16340 3.7v 550mAh or higher. They put out a lot more amps!
Hope this helps.

it sure did and thank you! i did see a site that had the AW IMR 16340 550mAh not sure if they are protected or not...so iwill hold off on getting the 3.6 for now, and use the 3.7's i have :D thank you again for the info, and more so thank you for making the saber line, these like i said are great, and right up my alley for a perfect mod!

Thanks Smokie...
Some people have asked me to make a Saber Touch that will accept the Kick with an 18650 battery. If I have enough people that want it, I can do it.
I'm also curious to see if the Kick will work with the Saber Touch Mini, if I extend the inside of the battery compartment. I can also retro fit the Mini to accept a 16350 3.7v IMR battery.
You all let me know if this is really something that you would like.
Thanks again Smokie.

The best way for the 3.7 / 6 volt I say is to make a extension sleeve, you could have just a 2 or 3 colors to stock, and any other color would be special order. Not sure about the mini using such a small bat, may not be worth the bat life.
And now you have to buy a KICK for fitting, and testing, me too! And their all sold out, lol

There really would be no way to make an extension sleeve for the Saber... remember, the threading is on the outside, so if you put an extension onto it, you would see the original threads of the original body. Wouldn't look so good!
What I can do is to figure out a way to extend the inside of the battery compartment so that it would be no longer than the Saber VariVolt. That would take some really close fitting to be able to fit all of the circuitry inside without making it any longer. Should look really nice... just like the VV but it will take the Kick. Also, I could put an extra piece to fit inside if the user didn't want to use the Kick and just go with the 18650 by itself. So, it would be two-fold!

Just leave all alone, too much work for you to start with this, vapers will never get their sabers on time or you will put yourself in the hospital working all those hours. Just let them buy the 18500 bat for the Kick, as you seen in Grimm's video it works just fine on a 3.7 / 6 volt Saber. Be glade your Saber can except it, a lot of other Mods cannot.
