I'm not goo with reviews so just bear with me.

I have ordered several pack of the regular V9 cartos that Ben has on clearance. So far I've tried the raspberry, caramel bean macchiato and Toffee. I have tried them all and have to say the CCB is my fave of the three. It really does remind me of the Starbucks Caramel Macchiato that I splurge and get now and then. It's not exactly like it but it is close. I can definitely taste the coffee flavor with a caramel undertone that is really good. I will definitely being ordering more of these when next month's allowance kicks in.

Turbo carts. This is the first carto that I have seen will hold 50 drops of juice! I got a couple of these in a PIF trade and I really like them. I love my AC and always have a carto ready with some of that in it and it is really a lot better in the Turbo carto than other cartos I've tried it in. I like not having to refill or top off as often too. When I order next time I will have to have a pack of blanks of the turbos on there.

so glad you like the turbos...they brought me round to actually liking cartomizers again...and they're awesome at 6V too..

nice little review too...simple and to the point...I'd be no good at a review they'd all turn into Dondaboomvape epic type sagas with character development and everything...

That could be a good thing, lol Were you the one I got the turbos from? I did so much trading and swapping I can't remember who I got anything from anymore.

no not me...I actually got 6 from someone else to get my opinion of them...I've got 4 left and I'm guarding them closely(til I can order some myself)...(one I accidentally shorted at 6V with a metal drip tip...that was certainly tingly)...and one there was an unfortunate button vs. pocket incident with the last squeezings of several tobacco juices while waiting on some stuff...but the other 4 have been alternated through daily for just over a month now...

Drozd... are those the older ones that first came out? I ask because I bought 10 of the blank turbos and they aren't even lasting 2 days for me. After that they get a REALLY hard draw and barely work. I don't know maybe I'm doing something wrong but I keep them wet refilling at least every two hours. I'ts a little OT but I also noticed last week that the newest V4L premiums I got were not lasting as long as the ones from my previous order either. It seems to me that something has changed about these cartos but I'm not sure... anybody else think so?

yeah they are the newer, older ones..if that makes sense...not the first turbos with the glued caps (no glued on cap) but still pre racing stripe... that came in the white and black box..

This is complicated, but I have some thoughts on the subject, so bear with me. I ordered the very first (hardcap) version of the Turbos and they were fantastic. So I ordered several boxes of the first shipment of the softcaps, they all came in generic black and white boxes, and they were fantastic, too, I still have a box of them left. But then something happened with the third shipment; those came in blue and orange boxes and I started reading all kinds of complaints about them. And then somebody sent me three of them (it was a juice sample exchange). And sure enough, the ones I got were different. They were overstuffed, the batting was sitting much higher in the carto, leaving almost no air space between the top of the batting and the endcap, and, of course, the performance was not as good as the earlier version. And I managed to toast one of them rather badly. I had the same experience with other vendors' new high-resistance cartos. Too much filler, too tightly packed, no air pocket above the filler, decreased air flow, poor performance. I want to order again from Ben but I'm a bit hesitant. I really hope that the new shipment he's expecting will be like the early ones.

As for V4L, I stopped using their cartos when they decided to go low-resistance because I had bad experience with those. But Leaford just announced that they are introducing the new new premium, high-resistance, "cool" cartos. They are now on their website, you can get blanks and some prefilled (Irish Coffee is one, and Pink Lemonade, and Green Tea). I'm going to give them a try.

I'll keep you posted. Hope this helps.

For the record, I also read that other people had no problems whatsoever with the blue-box Turbos, so it was probably just a QC issue.

I have both the blue box racing stripe turbos and the first soft cap ones and I haven't found a difference. The only thing I have noticed is that after washing I had 3 or 4 that got a super hard draw. The other ones I washed were all fine yet. And now I don't bother washing them, just refill with the same flavors and they've been in use over a month with no problems. Unless I overfill, then I get a real hard draw again.

Soooo this morning I refilled my buttered popcorn/AC mix one and put less juice in it and it seems to be working okay. I also have the ones from the blue box with the racing stripe. I'm going to go back and blow out the ones I thought were not working and try them again. Mayhaps I was just overfilling them in my quest to get juice in every angstrom of space. :p

Im getting 50 cartomizers from the co-op and dont "need" more, however, review by Jules makes me want to try one, yet ( I think?) that they are not like the "old ones"?
yikes!

Yeah, it's confusing. But I'll be ordering some as soon as Ben gets them back in stock, so if you're willing to wait a little, I'll be happy to send you a couple of Turbos (third generation :D). He posted that he expects them Tuesday or Wednesday. Just PM me.

Cartomizers, that's right. When I said overstuffed, I meant that had too much batting in them, not juice.

They show on line as being in stock because some people wanted to place their orders, so he just listed them as in-stock. He's getting a shipment on Tuesday or Wednesday.

I have the best results when I don't overfill those with juice, especially if they come a bit overstuffed (with filler) to begin with. Decreases the airflow through the carto, in my experience. I refill early and I refill often. And I always inspect the insides of the carto before I vape it to make sure the filler is evenly saturated and that the airflow tube is centered. If not, I run a thick sewing needle through it to recenter it.
