The Gas Wars of the 70's...
First there were long lines because the gas was so cheap... you could fill your tank for less than it costs for just one gallon today!!
Then came the so-called shortage, with Even & Odd days to buy it depending on your license plate...
(I never waited in any lines cuz I knew some of the guys that worked at our local gas station... )

This was THE BEST Concert I have ever seen... Hands down!!
In the Fall of 1970, in a 3,000 seat auditorium... complete with a choir and orchestra (not to mention 360 degree sound!!).
After they played this whole piece, they went into some of their other songs, like: Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun, Interstellar Overdrive, See Emily Play, etc. Just incredible!!!!
(the only other time I saw them live was doing 'The Wall' here in L.A.
An old HS friend had worked on the scaffolding and we got to go opening night...)

Sorry guys... I was listening to the Yes albums that Whodat posted (I love this thread!) and happened to notice the timestamp on the entries. My advice: next time, don't make such good entries!
