That was me...thanks for my lunch it was tasty
that really sucks Hawk, hope they will fix it. I had Papa Johns delivery boy mark up that i gave him a 75 dollar tip, and the manager tried to deny it and say that I did it...i got my money back, and a free pizza a week for two monthsoh and the driver was fired.
I'm not concerned about getting my money back. More just if anything is going to bounce. Cash flow is tight this week because I just paid all my bills.
I once had a bartender accidentally key in a $4 tip as $44. Touch screen POS system, so simple mistake. Next day after I saw it I went in with my receipt. The manager I spoke with realized that most people don't leave a 44 dollar tip on 4 beers at 2 bux each and refunded me the whole tab. I think what pisses me off the most is that the cashier didn't say anything if it was a simple mistake. Looking back on the drive through experience, it did seem that it took a little longer to get my card back. I just chalked it up to a slow processing connection that day. Happens at work all the time. Even if they immediately refunded it ... takes 3 - 5 business days for a refund to show up, but only a day or two for a sale to process.
My bank is pretty good tho, so I imagine if something happens, they'll work with me.
