Grew up with hogshead 'cheese'... and ate it as a child, but never really enjoyed it. My Pop's family was country, and my Granny used everything but the oink when it came to slaughtering time.
To me, it falls into the same category as SPAM. I'll eat it if it's what we have, but it's a last choice option.

I'm spoiled to it. had it so seldom after I became an adult, and I grew up eating it, I guess I tend to get "piggy" about it when I have it available, especially locally made....not that crud Oscar Meyer tries to pass off as hogshead cheese, LOL.

Okay caught up. Got a little free time until I have to get myself ready for work. Dinner for my break is already in a tupperware to take in, so no rushing there. Might stop at Racetrac on the way and get a couple of sodas. We shall see. Don't want too much caffeine today, since I am off at Midnight and back in at I think noon tomorrow. And I wanna get in for an adjustment tomorrow before work, and that has to happen before 1030am.
